I have also just started preparing for level 1 june 2010. I am in Delhi. Lemme know if you are also in Delhi.

If anybody is also appearing for level 1 june 2010, and form a study group, Please lemme know.

Regarding Shweser notes, I recently bought it from Ber Sarai market near JNU campus in Delhi.

I have also got CFA original notes, I think Shweser notes are good for saving time.

hi guys. i am confused. i read on the cfa institute site that delhi high court has allowed the conduct dec 2009 cfa exam in india. but immediately after that, it says that the cfa candidates need to select their centers outsie india for june 2010 exam/ can anyone plz explain and clear my confusion.?

R0hit,
The CFA 2010 exam will not be held in Mumbai. YOu need to register and select the centre of your choice from the list provided.

Sangram this is for Dec 09 and not June 10 we all are already aware about this....as per last communication to CFA Knight CFA Institute has not able to manage it for June 10. Hope we get it....

Hi guys,

I have seen on CFA website that Delhi High Court issued an order granting permission for CFA Institute to register candidates for the December 2009 CFA exam in India, and CFA institute are proceeding with plans to have a test center in Mumbai. Candidates may also select from any of more than 175 test centers worldwide, including many in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.

This word may is very important. I believe it means CFA inst is planning to have center for exam in India, though indian students who are willing to take exams outside india can select any approved center outside India.

Guys correct me if I am wrong

guys, will the december 2010 level 1 exam be held in mumbai? i am skeptical about going abroad to take the exam. if i have no other option then which center should i choose from these three - singapore, dhaka or kathmandu. i stay in mumbai. the air fares for mumbai kathmandu and mumbai singapore are the same . i need some suggestions guys. if anyone of u has taken the exam abroad or know someone who has , plz share ur experience.

also i would like some details about schweser notes. does it have 5 books?

Rohit there is no confirmation on Mumbai as centre for june 10. People choose Kathmandu mostly as it is near and cheap. Yes Scheweser has 5 books. Please take some pain and go thru earlier posts of this thread you people are asking same questions again and again. This thread is becoming redundant know.

Hi Puys,
As with one of my previous threads I wanted to discuss on efficient frontier -

EF is said as the point on the curve wherein investor makes high return with the same amount of risk on the CML.
However, in the figure the EF point is shown to be the upper point above the curve with the high risk high return.

We can discuss more on this....?

I am from Blore too.I dont think one needs separate coaching for CFA.May be you should go through the material for a month and decide if you really need external help.

I guess,within 14 days they say,but it reaches well within the time,and arnd 10 days.
