@prafullkrdubey chalo bhai il clear all ur doubts...abt css and all..css main ya kahin pe bhi there are places where there is hell lot of work..u ask someone from ministry of finance..home..yahan kai jagah pagal ho jaoge , sat sun ko bhi office aoge..aur science and tech main mostly no work..so css main option milti hai rank ke basis pe..achi rank hai to man chahi ministry ul get else finance /home etc..wahan kam kaam bhi ho sakta hai jyada bhi..agar tayari karni hai to field jobs best..jao na jao..mostly no one comes to knw..like IT..excise..

yup they will ask on ur graduation, generally one chairman Of IAS cadre, 2 senior officers and of course these all are sarkari babu. 1 psychologist sometimes

@ravinigam The choice depends on a particuler person. But generally speaking ITI is far better than CSS. In ITI u can get ur posting near to ur home also (as CSS in delhi only). In ITI u have much reputation in society and when u become ITO after (after 7-8 years for ur cat) u would be having power also and you can make lots of money (if u want). One more big difference is, In CSS so many IAS would be there so lots of yes sir , yes boss type. which may be sometimes irritating and frustrating also (as I was told by my seniors that IAS have big igo problem etc.) and in ITI mainly u will be in contact with ur ITO (who was also a Inspector some years ago like u) so very less mental pressure of work (in comparison to CSS). Most importantly in iti u will be having good repo and contacts in society.
This is my personal view which I have understood during my job and talking to my friends who r already in IT or CSS.
@prafullkrdubey Friend that really does not depend on post so much that how much time u have to give to ur work. That mainly depends on the particular seat u get in the office. Even an auditor may have to work very hard (as so many of my friends r auditor in CAG and CGDA both, Even previously I was also working in CAG but as an accountant) and there is possibility that ITI or Inspector (CE) relax. Depends upon ur relation with ur officer too much. And to the best of my knowledge work pressure is much in CSS. Pls confirm before deciding.

I am expecting 385-390 in Tier 1+ 2. But I don't want other stressful jobs in other states as it will be easiest to prepare for UPSC at Delhi. Do you believe that I should skip interview or is it must to appear. Then I will have to ensure that I do not get more than 20-30 marks, so that I may not get a higher pay scale job. Unfortunately, all jobs with GP 4200 and 4600 are higher in my preference list.If I could not make it to the UPSC, I will go for ITI after 2-3 years because then I will take it as my career option. But not now.Time factor compels me to do so....Express your thoughts freely.Come on!!!!!!!..Those working as auditors may also share their opinion.Comments awaited.
bro i know many people who cracked upsc while working in private firm..come dnt be so childish..u hv scored pretty well go and give the intrvw as best as u can and try to get a good post..in govt sector u dnt hv to work 10 hours like i use to do everyday..govt jobs r pretty cool.if u want to become an auditor means u want to work n study. i mean u dnt want to sit idle..in dat case it wud be better to hv a good job n earn few more bucks n again about tym, u will ha enough tym to study..and whn u feel ur prepation if well upto the mark than take unpaid leave for one year n give a good shoot..dats what i will do..i did a terrible mistake this tym..did nt appeared in ssc but instead appeared in upsc n even cracked pre but mains is mains n the syllabus is huge so i skiped it..will give my nxt attempt in 2014 wid prep..so make ur own strategy n stick to dat..once i read in HBR..its more easy to stick to our principles 100 percent of the times than to stick to it 99 percent of tyms..hope it will help u..good luck
