We could easily fax this letter the chief himself. I still believe that he has been misguided here. maybe he doesnt realize tat the corrg was published all too late.
About approaching courts, I am in favor of it as long as I am sure it will bear fruit. Does anyone has a clear idea as to how to go about it?
I believe this will come under the Delhi highcourt jurisdiction, in which case, it will be difficult for guys like me from south india to go ahead with it
bhaiyo taking legal action against ssc would not help any one instead it will delay the recruitment process for us as well as for the coming candidates . they have a very strong point tat it was clearly stated in the in cgle 2012 notice/ad important instructions to candidates very 1st point that "preference of posts once exercised will be final request for change of preference would not be considered under any circumstances"
also if allowed i cn choose better options but we have to understand tat somewhere down the line we had to be a bit more careful and circumspect while filling the posts because after that no matter what u score u have the same preference .
@secretworld bhai the corrigendum was not for the refilling of the options but to declare that that no refreshment of the options will be allowed that was also being clearly stated in there official notice well before the application submission starting date . even if it had been published before that no effect would it have been made . The corrigendum was just a reminder that no refreshment is allowed so in this case date dosent matter .
these things would be asked in the court as some students are going for it . this would not help anyone no refreshment will be granted so think twice before taking this major step .

see bro as i already explained I am neither in favor nor against this thing, but if it was soi why the chief tweeted that if it was nt published we would seek refilling, it shows that the point was obscure even to the officials, now to solve this they published corrigendum in hindi (truti patra) and it needs to be published before any action is taken. Thats where SSC failed
I was convinced before when chief said it was not even under discussion, as ssc holds the discretion but this point has actually taken the case in wrong direction, now I am sure the matter is going to court because now both sides have strong points.
@secretworld one more thing, chief himself devided us in two parts by saying 45 days delay by refilling. agar usne na kaha hota to sab march me h result ka wait karte.. bt ab to feb me h chahiye.. what if result still delays to march without refilling??

it would get delayed, kaam ssc walo ko krna hai, na ki chief ko. They wud do that taking their own sweet time, moreover tab tak sir retire hone wale honge so would be busy in his own work, sara jimma ssc ke bando pe hga tab

bhai i dont follow twitter so i dont know whats happening . But the core issue is whether the student knew before the filling the forms tat refreshment will not be allowed or not ? for that they have already got it stated in the very first point of the cgl 2012 notice . so i dont know why all of a sudden students are dragging him into the court because nothing was hidden. second if the corrigendum was for granting the permission for refreshment then it would justify the date as then it should have published well before the last date . but it was just a reminder for all the queries students were having regarding the posts prefernce ( i dont know why).
i have no issues with people talking to the chief all about it and i would be happy if he somehow allows. but dragging someone into the court of such a high rank would mean u r questioning his liabilities,his position so he will defend it and have the best lawyer and then forget about the refreshment we cnnot even expect the joining in 2013.

nobody is going to take chief in court, ssc ko le jayenge, in case if case goes for long time then next sscchief wud be in court nt Raghupatiji, and these cases are common for organisations so don't worry about their attitude change. It would be the same as it has been and regarding joining 2011 batch is till waiting so forget abt thing like early joining. Its a govmt. procedure. It would take its own time. Ask me Nominations were expected to be over by June 12 and till nw no region had complted 100%. And that too whn ppl hv been shouting thier lungs out to chief, as he is helpless in such cases, he can't work for these people and these people don't work as he wants.

@secretworld bhai bura mat manna par ek baat tujhse ye poochni thi ki.....this tym i am appearing for snap and i have filled scmhrd as well since all i know is that scmhrd is one of the best b-college in India....and your badge shows scmhrd....then why is it so that u r trying for ssc cgl.....I just wanted to know that is it advisable to go for mba as nowadays so many b-graduates from reputed colleges are opting for government jobs....wat is the reason for this....

bhai bura man ne wali kaun si baat hai, scmhrd is a gud college, for learning and study its a very gud college, mil jaye to surely go.
Regarding me to bhai I wanted to have a chance at UPSC, pvt job me to I m damn sure i couldn't have done it, so needed a job that is gud enough to provide me security while I am hoping for unpredictable. Thats why I need a govt job.
Dusra salary may be more in pvt but jaan bhi usi hisaab se lete hain wo, in govt pace is ok to cope, gharwalo k saath tym jyada mil jata hai. aur reputation bhi better hti hai social circle me, rather than being a General Manager of ABC company, u wud be more recognized if you are ITI of any area.
Regarding college last year I saw a person frm Narsee Monjee too trying for CGL, his view was he had become hopeless with rat race in pvt.
