a request to all you guys who are availing those 5 or 10 extra marks.Kindly refrain from posting "MY CHANCE QUESTIONS" here .The sentiments of many  are such that  you could be severely trolled for that for no fault of yours. I for one wudnt hesitate if it appears to be sarcastic rather than a genuine query.

We shared your genuine concern to ADCOM, not just percentile now entire criteria is being reviewed by ADCOM. Hopefully new appropriate criteria will be uploaded on website within a week and final list in 7-10 days. 


Again we don't play any role in this. Next update will be posted after 4 days. 

Can someone share the shortlisting criteria...website is down of dfs...nothing on dbe website...portal is blank as well.

DFS website is down...but checked last year admission list of DBE.......about 400 called.....approx 170 selected/offered admission...in about 10-11 admission list....... conversion rate is pretty high for DBE/DFS...... I am not worrying that much ...

Is there no criteria of a cutoff of 97 percentile in dfs this year? Please tell adcom....

 New criteria can be put for DU  students 15% by reducing cat to 55 percentile from earlier 70 percentile

Are the shortlist or final merit calls out?

DFS has full right on its admission policy. 

But two things are really painful.

(1) Use of CAT percentile and not the scores. (Takes away the actual gap between candidates)


(2) No sectional or overall cut off. 

Sectional cut offs as well as Overall Cut offs need to be imposed.


Rest of the weights can be debated but atleast they have some merit in it. 

These two above are key.


For those who are crying over adding workex as a new parameter to benefit them, bad news for you. All other changes are welcome as it was obviously lopsided.
