It is so shocking to hear that some ppl r clearly making discrepancy between zones unnecessarily. although i have appeared frm my birthplace it hurts to see ppl making such comments As if Maharashtra or karnataka or AP is strictly their own property with copy rights reserved. If some1 frm a different zone appears frm my state having better preparation than i have made and he gets chosen nd am nt.. is it rational enough 2 put blames of my failure on his better performance?? nd if the cut off of any state remains low it clearly states that less ppl r interested in banking sectors. so what is the problm occuring 2 u if a non local boy/girl takes a chance on that.... nd where ur fear lies is lack of confidence that a non local guy will score much more than u will make thus lowering ur score nd it may leave u eliminated. dont be insecure! nd the matter of local language is a thing of concern. if the concerned bank decides that he/she is not eligible then they will b wiped out no doubt. that is not our job to discuss. but u r nobody 2 decide whether non local ppl r 2 b thrown out without giving a chance which r rightfully theirs!
IBPS should atleast declare mains marks ....

i m from andhra applied to karnataka but i know kanada very well.. my father native is karnatka even most of my relatives were also in karnataka... i can speak kanada very well and little bit reading but cant write.. the reason behind applying in karnatka is jst a hope that there wil be more chances of my selection nt that i cant survive with andhra cutoffs... everyone wil hav their own reasons for applying different states... what do u say?

friends, lets make it simple.
Imagine u r a middle level employee in your own state bank. Now consider a new PO and a new Clerk has appointed to ur bank who don't know your local language well.
You help to communicate ur officer PO as he/she wiil be ur higher authority . But in case of Clerk u will not help him as u did to PO bcoz of lower authority.
this is the real situation happens in a bank. if many people visits all r busy, then no one will help u if u don't know language very well so daily u get discrimination, embarrassment .
I have seen these in local town. so if u r selected as a PO no worries. but clerk these things need to be considered
Its already too late.. I too got another info... However i don't know upto how much extent it is true... IBPS clerk cut off is same as the IBPS RRB as in your state for interview... This is an Info I got from my friend who is studying in a leading bank coaching centre which has centres all over India... Friends your suggestions please....
Friends I m sure.. This year's clerk process will be same as it was in 2011-12 year's process..
There was no reserve list...
The ultimate decision was bound with respected bank
If required number of Candidates not joined then there was second and third list too irrespective of percentage of reserve list..
Ibps was just to conduct the exam but DV was rest with respected bank...
So this year also same process as it was in 2011-12
