Hello Seniors,

I have a query in filling up the form. For the GD/PI centre preference, the box in which the preference number is to be entered is very small. Should I write 1,2 inside the boxes or should I write outside them ?

Doen't matter dude!!
Write near boxes in case u find it difficult to write in the box. Just make sure u make ur preferences clear.

hi,

i have a query regarding the documents requried in support of the work ex.

i had joined a firm as an intern(not as part of any curriculum.. its just a designation they give to freshers during their probation period) and later got converted into a full time employee..

the experience certificate that i got when i left the firm mentions the date of joining as the date when i was inducted as a permanent employee.. the only proof that i have of the time i was under probation is the offer letter that the firm had issued..

will it suffice? i have now switched cities and it would be very difficult for me to get any documents from the HR..

please guide..

YEs, the offer later is suffice as most of the IT companies do the same.

Attested here means attested from a gazetted officer. U can get it done along with atttestation of other documents.

It is preferable that you get all your documents attested by a gazetted officer.

I m sorry but there is almost negligible chance of getting a call with a rank of 11445 if you are applying in the general category.

got a JMET rank of 864... acads are not great... have decent extra curriculars... any chances of getting a call?

Start preparing for GT/PI. And make sure to prove urself to be an able prospective manager.

Not great extr curriculars to talk abt.... Also how much weight do the write ups carry.... and ur jmet score in final selection...

Congratulations for the great rank.

Every aspect of your admission process including the test, SOP, GT/PI is considered important. It would be very difficult to give specific weights for each of them. But let us assure you that the faculty here is very experienced and highly knowledgeable. They can look right through us. So rest assured that whatever criterion or weights they assign to each part of your application would be very sensible.

Its too early to predict a calls to intake ratio for this year, with applications still coming in. For last year my guess is that it shld have been around 1:8

You will get to know about your shortlisted status in the 1st or 2nd week of Feb. Depending on your selection of city, you should get around 1-1.5 months for preparation of GT/PI. All the best.
