GMAT aspirants at Hyderabad - Study Group

Does anyone know about good B-school counselling centres in Hyderabad?
I just know about Princeton Review and went to meet them. But, am confused about their services.

Please share insight in case anyone knows about the quality of their service.

Been on PG since 5+ years ... had decided to work for a few years before getting into a b-school... Guess that time is coming closer and I should be startin my gmat prep soon...

I'm interested in forming/ joining a study group (I may be able to provide a conf room for it)

I have been searching for the manhattan sentence correction guide at various stores...himalaya, universal, crossword ....none of them seem to have the stock :huh:

Can someone tell me where can I get the book.....or if someone who is interested in selling his/her copy...

please reply....i have to have this book and my exam is on 29th August...

I am giving gmat on august 28th.. This will be my second attempt. Since this time i am not going for any coatching i felt it would help if i join a study group for Gmat in hyderabad.

hI people,,gave my GMAT today,,, got 770,,,was feeling too good untill about a minute ago when i saw a thread about a guy banging 800,,,, i wanted to achieve that,,, but ,,,, i am not complaining,,,, i am more than glad to get this sore,,, 😃 😃 😃

I am a GMAT aspirant and am planning to take GMAT sometime in Feb or March 2009. I am targeting to join a B school in 2010. Please add me to your group and do let me know how to start my preparation for QA and DS. I have found some good material for VA and SC but nothing much on the QA and DS front. Please help. And do include me in case the GMAT group plans to meet sometime.

hey mayank,

after my GMAT debacle, i have been away from PG for a while. was busy on personal front. things are falling in place now. may be from next week, i will be back to GMAT apps and retakes...

Can't meet today dude..however will talk to vjn and vineet..and fix up on some date asap. Talked to Chaitu recently..he was out of station.

will take some time..but sure will bounce back..

Sunetra..whats ur background? if u have done ur engineering and done lots of maths early in ur life..then QA and DS will be surely easy for you.

Forget abt engg..If you are good at your 10th class maths and ofcourse if you have a penchant for quant then i m sure you can crack it well. and how good are you at verbal?

First brush up the basic concepts. start working on some material. identify your weakness and try to rectify them.

You may want to give some mock CAT(Computer adaptive test) before you start your prep. try Power prep. But strictly DO NOT use GPrep now. You should keep that s/w until you are very near to your G-day.

Feb March 09 is 6-7 months away. so you can plan meticulously. Thats lots of time for Gmat prep indeed. See that you don't overdo and burn yourself.
