Hi folks,

I have plans to go for gmat by end of november. Not started yet, so thinking of joining some gmat prep classes, to bring some discipline in my prepration.

Any thoughts on princeton review and manhattan review ? How are they..

Hi All,

Am presently working in Accenture. Have gone through the thread but not able to figure out the best institute to join in Hyderabad for GMAT. Confused regarding many aspects related to exam/ institutes. Any single site to know all the information.?
Also , how much time it takes to prepare in having a decent score above 650 plus ??.
Institutes of any help or self study is sufficient.?

I want to start off with GMAT prep with the aim of admission to good colleges in India.
Which are the good colleges in India that accept GMAT score?
I know only ISB and Great Lakes.Moreover, am I late in starting the prep if I want to take admission next year?As of now Great lakes is my target as I don't know any other good college.
I have appeared for CAT twice.First time I scored 88 and the second time it was 70!
I have 3 years of Exp in Infy.

@Rajesh69 it certainly helped. I was feeling quants was my most strong area until i took the test. When i see the questions it feels yeah...i have seen it somewhere...it used to have a trick.....

@nidhi16 Almost all IIMs in the country take GMAT score but majorly for Exec MBA programs. (Each college has its own nomenclature). The minimum exp varies though from college to college.

@vineeth_attoor Yes, I joined Manhattan. But would advise you to grab more material online and focus on self prep rather than relying too much on insti.

My name is Ayush. I am looking to join some institute for GMAT prep in Hyderabad, basically I am an Electrical engg and I have 1.5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing.

I went to IMS and they seem to be ok... What about Manhattan review or Princeton..Which of these is better??

If you guys have some study group and you meet regularly...plz include me... thanks

Hi @ayyash_life I had joined Manhattan, they are good but I still don't think it was worth it. Not much issue with the faculty but to extract the complete value of the fee you should practise their entire material and unfortunately most of that material can only be accessed through their computer labs which wasn't feasible for me. Otherwise you can join them. One good thing I felt about Manhattan is that in the first/demo class the faculty makes it clear that they are only 20% of your GMAT prep and the rest 80% you have to do for yourself.

Hi Everyone, I'm starting my GMAT prep and I'd like to team up with people who too are just starting off. Planning to take GMAT in 2 to 4 months time. I live in Banjara Hills and can dedicate weekends (i.e. Sunday only) for combined prep. Anyone living in the vicinity and interested in teaming up with me PM me and we sort out the details.
