Welcome back. Hows ur studies going? I havent even started. But i am determined to do so this weekend. watever happens i am gonna give my first prep test. lets see how it goes. will plan strategies after that. Also i am going to book my test date as soon as possible this month. ( I will decide about it after my first prep test)

I am planning take GMAT in May/June 2007...from all the posts I figured out a couple of books to start with..OG11 and kaplan800. Pl. advise.
Planning for 2008-2009 one year MBA in India. I found the following for that ISB, SP Jain, IIMA, IIMC, Glakes, XLRI. Pl. update if there is any other B-School offering the same program. I'll have 4.5 yrs of work exp. by the time I apply for admission(Dec 2007). I am also pursuing a one year executive prog. from IIMC to cope up with the one year prog. as I am science backround person.

It has been almost a yr since you started prep i suppose. Bt because of non availability of your passport u cudn't write ur gmat. Lets do it this time buddy.

I am planning to take up mine during April/ May .... have not decided the date, will want do it end of this month ... couple of things
1) Are we having a study group in Mumbai ?
2) Can somebody help me with the classes in Mumbai that is good ? I need to brush up its was 6 years back that i studied...
And how many days in advance are we suppose to book the date for the exam?

Me Started Preping last year this time around and got 710 (Q 50, V 35).
I have been admitted to some schools , however i think i can get better if i improve on my GMAT( 750+ with a 40+ in verbal) and Work Experience.
Harshg, i am the same guy who used to bother you for the dell laptop :).
Lets Rock the GMat This year around.
Anyone has used SCG , and the (CR+RC ) Book.

I had a miserable first GMATprep performance. Some of the quants questions really were tougher than the Kaplan and other tough tests !
My score is as follows:
quants : 37 questions , 19 incorrect
verbal : 41 questions, 20 incorrect
I think the overall score was 510 :(
i think i am going to squander $250 in one sitting :((
Am I allowed to post the wierd questions here and seek explanation?

I am Raghu, new joinee to this forum. Brief intro :- IT pro with 4.5 years ex..Planning to write GMAT this yr..Following r my tentative timeframes :
Gather all study material - By Jan end/Feb 1st week
Actual study time - Feb to Apr(Not more than 2 months)
Take GMAT -By Apr end/May 1st week
Any suggestion on gathering study material is appreciated...Right now, I am going thru all prev posts in this forum before I write more....

I know this thread caters to the need of ppl all over India. But that means there are chennaiites here as well 
There are talks going on for a Chennai PG GMAT meet. Please drop in at this thread (PG GMAT meets) and let me know if any of u can make it to the meet.
To ppl in other places, the thread is for planning/requesting meets in all cities. Already Pune and Mumbai meets are getting planned. The incentive is that u get to meet admitted students from your city and get to hear their views on the whole process :)
