Electronics and communication background student can apply for the post of IT Officer scale II having one year experience in IT. I am asking this because i think there is mismatch between the graduation subjects and experience area. Please Help me out in this.

I'm a B.Tech (ECE) 2012 fresher and is eligible to apply for both IT Officer and Technical Officer. Which one shud I prefer? Is there any difference in the syllabus of professional Knowledge for both the posts??

i have 1.5 years of experience in infosys.. can i apply for IT officer scale 2 ?? plus i dont have that much knowledge even after working for 1.5 years because of spending much time on bench and theoretical training... what should i do?
