go ahead for IT officer scale 2...theretical training had provided you more than enough knowledge required for scale 2 exam related with professional knowledge
@TONYMBA okk thanks 😃 actually theoretical knowledge was based on the project which is about to start after few days, but before the project starts i am quitting infosys and going back home for preparation of bank and ssc exams

well i was saying about the training you went in mysore...that helps a lot in professional knowledge of IT Officer scale 2 exam

that will do....mera toh CAT prep chal raha hai from last 1.5 years..and that's assisting me enough to score well in ibps exams or any other exams

great yaar. lekin CAT k liye acchi preparation chaheay hoti hai .,. if u r interested in doing MBA, to bank exams kyu de rhe ho? just for practice ya fir banking me jane ka bhi irada hai ?

scale 2 exam 1 year experience walon ke liye hota hai aur scale 1 exam freshers or any work-ex candidate ke liye hota hai...choice is yours...scale 2 will have lesser posts than scale 1,so cut off will be higher for scale 2...aur professional knowldege ke liye scale 2 mien kya poochte hain?....i dont know...mera work-ex nai hai

maine placement programmes college mein attend nai ki thi...aab CAT result unexpectedly below raha....so m waiting for XAT results.....so m planning to write all mba entrance exams again and all ibps, ssc exams for getting a job in case i dont get admission this year itself

though i am not from ECE but i think that technical officer exam will have technical section ie prof knowledge section according to your specialization in graduation and so the ques will be from topics of electronics in your case. whereas in IT officer ques will cover topics like DBMS and networking. please refer to previous posts in this thread to understand the job role for both positions and make a choice. almost every question has been discussed on this thread so far. so you can get all your answers if you read all the posts of this thread.. all the beast..:)
I did not receive confirmation email from IBPS, registered sterday. I checked in spam/junk folder also. But I got reg number and password to my mobile. I have downloaded pdf .
It says "Please retain your Registration No. and Password emailed to you carefully for further reference". what to do?

Along with rs agarwal, try to solve previous year question paper or previous year PO sets from BSC and Competition Infocus.it will help you a lot in preparing for IBPS..

i dont think that by working in infosys u can apply for scale 2 it officer.. coz even i m aslo working in infosys from past 2.3 years(training includ).. my seniors suggested me that u can apply only for scale 1 as banks dont consider the experience in it industry....

well my friends had applied for scale 2 last year with work ex 2 years in infosys....

yes...ibps has clearly mentioned in their website that any work experience after obtaining degree....and they have been selected last year

i need to buy competition in focus also?? by the way, i purchased Lucent's GK book and manorama 2012 last year.. will that be enough for for GK till last year., and for this year i know i need to buy the latest current affairs book..... 😃
