you cant be promoted from scale 1 to scale 2 officer unless and until you have atleast exp. of 2 years of continuous service in rural area and its MANDATORY..........
is there any one still not interested in rural posting????????

For gen only ... !!! persons who got 155+ will get through in their category itself, i think. So competition will be with the gen cat . But anyone cant be sure of this.

dude, but if in interview they give very low marks to general above 155, then it will be quite tough....

Haha...Scale-1 reh ke 2 saal ke andar andar SSC or Civil Services...That's my plan :)
