Actually , as per IBM policy an employee can revert the process of resignation any time during the notice period . So, incase I din't get selected I will revert my decision .
It was not like I was over confident that I will 100 percent get selected . I did it just because in IBM there is notice period of 3 months . So, I thought of serving as much as I can .
Now as far as going against HR and organization , I have a legal mail that resignation is been accepted by the management(of 6th April) . They realized their mistake yesterday and now they are forcing me to send concurrence mail to extend my last working day .(9th may). Which is impposible for me to accept incase I got shortlist (chances are less but still have hope)..
Now, what you say Kapil.
Please suggest me (I feel I do'nt have any other option)...

Do one thing anupam quickly .Cal ICICI HR and ask for result exact daete and tell them this problem.

hey anupam if suppose u don't get selected at ICICI and u take ur resignation back from IBM...u are definitely going to leave a bad remark as the organisation would take ur stability issue very seriously... here's the plan of action now: 1) if u get selected for ICICI fight with ur company for relieving. 2) if not,take ur resignation back as of now.. find a new job asap and then resign...

Yeah , I 100 percent agree . If incase I would have to stay, they are going to punish me in each and every aspect(salary, onsite, project , performance bonus ... simply everything ).
