@[130981:shailendra66] Hi this is for all who got offer letter from ICICI Bank for this MBA program, Firstly Guys congrats to all who got offer mail from ICICI Bank. Guys i would like to suggest something before you take decision to join,
1. Profiles: Look into the profiles they are offering specially those who are going for risk and wholesale banking as icici is a sales oriented organisation, job will be 80-90 percentage target oriented with all six days working.
2. Growth perspective: Its totally depends on achievement of numbers, sales target, no matters how much experience you have or from which background you are or how much good you are in aptitude, operations. There will be so many M2 s with you who will be simple graduates but you and these existing guys will be judged only on your performance on sales parameters (100 percentage truth).
3. See the breakup of package you are offered:
As ICICI offer 6.84 L pa for fresh MBAs from various mba colleges at AM2 grade which is two grades lower than M2, but the take home per month for these guys is only 30-35 k per month depends on city of posting ( Tier 1 to Tier 4) so as per this calculation for 15 Lac CTC it will be approx. 75 k pm.
4.Work Culture: as its already mentioned icici bank is a sales oriented organisation its always demanding on sales front and using hard words might be common.
So guys suggesting you to get proper clarifications before resigning from present jobs.

I too scared of this..managing customers is some what ok, but in whole sale banking if they ask to join new wealthier customers who able to maintain 25laks balance in account then what's our situation.
More over..ICICI PO work culture is different from other banks PO role. 99% PO's are in sales. Some people frustrated and left the job by breaking bond and paid some huge amount to ICICI for breaking bond. See how much pressure was there, which lead to bond breakage.
I heard that what ever might be the position/specialization..what ever might be your level you will get sales targets

Yes that is also true.It might be that they have finalised their names but did not get time to change status as they have to make website down to do those changes.But people for whom it was changed with specialisation are having very gud chance if there would be no last minute goof up.

I am not sure whether its direct sales or we should achieve target by dividing it among the people who will come under us.
In normal organizations even target will get accomplished by lower level people's. Upper level people will take that credit.
absolutely correct @ praj_1987... If u r thinking to get a cool ac room job wid ibank.. than plz forget.. they'll spend on u too earn... so b ready.. alhough it has got target pressuress. n performance totally on the numbers u achieve... nothing else..

All organisations,lower people targets are dependant upon seniors targets.
First board of directors are giving target to CEO ,which will be devided at every level horizontally and vertically.
If you have done sumthing at any level and if somebody else is taking credit then that is ur problem ,not his problem.U need to learn how to make urself visible.If u are thinking dat somebody else will give u visibility.Ethically u should be given but not all people are ethical.

@1985amit- If we go by your analysis how come candidates are getting the company displayed on the icici carers website as WBG or Tecnology, does that in any way mean that spezializations are already decided. If we go by the official mails sent , they would be decided post completion of course & may/may not be be consistent with candidate's choice.
Have you had a chance to talk rgd this with any of the guys who are enrolled in the course already
