@nkme2007 - It makes sense if one thinks in that way that whether the MBA given is worth in the industry. But personally I believe, once you have worked in ICICI for atleast 3 years till the bond period ends, then the degree should not matter, instead your career in ICICI should speak more than the degree itself. Its good to have a big name behind you as your alma-mator but I do not think it matters a lot. This is totally my thinking.

But, a degree from IIMs or ISB will always have its own credits forever, ryt?

The only advantage I feel one might get studying from IIM's or an ISB is a whole circle of friends and alumni's who will be holding good positions in very good firms which can help you professionally in future.

I'll have experience of 2 yrs of 10 months on 1st april 2012, do i stand any chance of passing the eligibility criterion:
@jindalsusheel - As per my knowledge you should not apply. Even if you apply they will definitely reject you this time, because the foremost criteria for joining this course is an experience of 3 years and more.
Hence please do not apply now. As there are 2 intakes every year, you can apply for the Oct 2013 batch. They will call for applying in May 2013 for the Oct 2013 batch.

I have the following queries regarding this course:-
1) My profile:- 10th%- 79, 12th% 79, B.Tech(Instrumentation)% 66.8.......3.4 yrs Exp. in IT industry-2.4yrs with reputed Indian Firm in Telecom and Oil/Gas Domain and 1yrs on contract on World Bank project.
Does it stand any chance of selection for the course?
2) Are all the students pursuing this course inducted by ICICI or a particular % only? And does this degree by NIIT University has some value in the job market if one does not get an offer from ICICI?

1. ICICI Bank takes twice in a year (April & Oct )
2. You can apply if U are completing your three year before 22nd April 2013 (Before begin of prog)
3. First batch is still in final phase of internship. But this would be min if selected for prog.
4. Its very simple. time is only a single factor which everybody needs to keep in mind.
5. I request you to focus on first rounds . We will discuss later for interviews.

1. Yes it will be valid as it is given by an University which is formed under state act.
2. You have a strong chance of getting a call. Basic knowledge of finance can be tested in interview.
3. Written & GD will be there in Jan 2013.
4. Yes, you can get. Some of my batch mates got the same which had similar profile as yours. It depends on your 1st term grades, Psychometric test (once you selected in written).
