10th - 95
12th - 91.4
Grad - 90

No work-ex. I am pursuing Engineering.

Can you please explain to me why I did not get a call with the above credentials? I saw somebody has posted that they got a call at 95 and somebody at 97 with worse 10th, 12th and grad scores than mine...!

1.Am from a PSU. Here i cant get the reference directly from any boss, as the HR persons are the only persons eligible to give us such things. How to deal this?.

2. Should we give official email ids of referrals?

I am a fresher with 2 internship experiences with MNCs.

Would a reference letter from my internship mentor count?

Also, would a reference letter from the School vice principal count or the faculty has to be from the college only?
Am not too comfortable with the idea of Engineering faculty recommending me for a BSchool (as they generally dont know their students very well).

Please answer my query.

@abhi.iimb & others plz help - They've mentioned about 3 recommendation letters. I'll face lots of trouble collecting these from my office as then my seniors will come to know that I'm trying to leave my company.& From whom can I collect it? Colg prof or HODs will do?what about colleagues?Does recm letter necessarily have to be written in official pad with stamp(Coz my team lead/supervisor have neither of the two).Could it be a printed mail? My qstn may sound funny but I dont have any info regarding these.So help me out.

@abhi.iimb can you please tell us what is the 90th percentile score for X and XII which IIM B has used this year to adjust our scores. IIM A has a clear cut formula by which we can get to a precise figure and check ourselves whether selection process is clean or not. Please tell IIM B to come up with such a clean figure.
