Hi go thru the thread. Ur query is answered.

For ur benefit, lemme repeat it. Call up one of the IIMs and ask them to reschedule your interview to a different date.

Hi All

I have an only call from indore. and D-date is 28th Feb , Indian Social Institue , Lodhi Road, 9:00 A.M. neone on the same date and around the same time.
another querry is , if i am allotted a time at 9 am then there must be around 9-10 other students within the same time slots since we wil be having our GD first. i am just asking to make sure whether i will be the one to be interviewed first or the timings are just for the gd only and we will be called randomly...
However doesnt matter much but still curious and dont want to be the first one to get disected.:neutral:

Last year the Indore Interviews were conducted in a random oredr. that is we after every interview they would come out and call the next person in.

How do I explain a sudden drop in GPA from 8 (from 2nd sem to 4th sem)to 6.8(5th sem to 7th sem?)

Also my Xth % was 90.67 & 12th was 71.8.

got calls from A, B and I.so how do i explain a string of low grades in maths during my graduation? Also how to answer the question ' why management/why shoud we take u?' .thanx inadvance.

THe best way to explain it is to let them ask u questions on afew subjects. so that there is no doubt that though you may have 'scored' lower you did not compromise on your understanding of the subjetcs you studied.

Dont worry my friend.. you need not submit the FOrm to IIM Indore. You must carry the filled in form to your centre on the day of your gD and Pi.
This wil hold true for all IIMs except IIM B which asks for recos and the form beforehand.

The questions can be about your company, ur job profile, about domain: do undertsand the basic definitions like bottle neck, aggregate planning, scheduling, kanban n others (as u may encounter an operations mgt prof in the interview). about CSE, brush up at least two subjects that u like. but, still the interview is in ur hand, steer it to the area where u r most comfortable with. I am also frm IT branch, n my interview even included questions about different kinds of portals n another level on them. Rest can be explained better by ur mentor.

B true in the interview about the reason for the drop, though there r more chances tht they would miss this question. About y mgt, ask ur ownself, y do u want to get in to management career? And frame the answer, get it consulted by ur mentor, rewrite it. But, before anything, introspect urself. y should v tak u, asks u 2 highlight ur strengths. identify them n get them properly framed in words.
