For those whose dates for IIM I GD/PI has clashed with other GD/PI, the IIM-I people has told to send a mail once all the dates for the interview are out.
Has anyone already sent a mail to them?
I am waiting for the IIM-C GD/PI dates to be out (which is taking quite some time)

Hey,
I sent a mail to them this monday. For IIMC i sent them the date range during which IIMC is supposed to have planned their interviews (12th-16th march). I had to send to send the mail coz my interviews are scheduled for Feb 12th and it was getting late. The later it becomes the more difficult is it to reschedule it. But i just hope they will reschedule it.
@amanonArun ,
Guys IIm Indore is rescheduling the dates for the people who mail them. I just cam eto know of my changed date. Even mine was on 12th feb @ 2 pm. Now it is changed to 14th feb @ 9 am
@TintinAndSnowy
Mail your details and later call them. They are very helpful. And don't wait for C calls they are most probably in march.
Cheers
Rahul
PS. Thanks Pranav , the admissions office team is very helpful .

Hey,
Did they tell u the date by mail, or did they tell u when u called up. Coz i have sent them a mail and they haven't replied to it yet
My A & I interviews were scheduled at the same date/time in march. I'd spoken to the admissions office immed after i got to know this and sent them an email as soon as i got off the phone..
Yest I got an email from IIMI admissions office --- "With reference to you email dated 15th Jan, we are happy to inform you.... blah blah blah..."
Got my IIMI interview advanced by 2 days.. luckily for me it doesnt clash with any of the others cuz they've mentioned in the email that no more requests for re-scheduling will be entertained! (hopefully C doesnt mess it up all over again!! )
cheers

I am in a dilemma.
In IITs there is a GPA system, U get a SGPA (Semester Grade Avg.) and CGPA (Cumulative Grade Avg.) Now CGPA does not reflect grades in some proficiency and hobbies related courses though they r mentioned on mark sheets. Also CGPA is not a measure of yearly performance but rather a cumulative performance score.
Now every IIM have asked for the score at the end of each year and total GPA in the end. Now for total GPA final CGPA shd be fine but 4 every year's score neither CGPA nor SGPA is the correct measure. Rather weighted average of the scores of the two semesters of that particular year. But if I do write that number in the the form, I might be asked to explain that how I arrived at it as it is nowhere mentioned in mark sheets. Please any senior from IIT advise.
@Pranav10:
Can u reply after contacting sum1 from IIT there.

Hello,
Spoke to an IITian and fellow IIM student. He said that he took the weighted average of the scores of the semesters of that particualar year. He was prepared with the very same logic that this is the most procatical way to represent the academic performance yearwise.
However the good part is No one in an y interview ever asked him why he did this or how he arrived at that particular figure.. so chill out .
All the best.

Thanks.. Xtremely helpful..
Sometimes even if we know what is right, a confirmation from some1 else can make us more comfortable..
Now will do the same without anxiety..

i am in a dilemma. i have already mailed thrice to IIMI regarding my clash of dates of GD/PI with IIMB but i have recieved no response.
I even called them and they said they will surely look into the matter.
I have faith in IIMI authorities but man my GD/PI is tantalisingly close.

Hello Ashish,
I understand your concern... what i request you to do is try calling them again tomo.
At the same time pls pls make reservations for calcutta if u are not from that city for the 14th. I know its high pressure time but generally the office is also overwhlmeed with requests at this time.
Write back tomo after u speak to the office, tell them about ur predicament and the soon approaching date without fail
All the best

Hello Nikhil,
Well as mentioned already go throughh the thread of last year's interviews. Also remember that the interview can be guidede to an extent by you in most cases. So it depends to some extent where you want to take the interview.
I believe that you must be prepared for any and all areas but concentrate always on acads for IIM Indore.
Indore panels are known to ask acad heavy questions.
Also the main areas that you can be asked questions are:
1) Academic Subjects
2) Work ex related questions
3) GK about your state, your universtiy, your industry and India on the whole
4) Extra currcs, Co currcs u took part in college
5) Hobbies and other interests that you pursue in your leisure time.

Now the problem. 6 months of work has not gifted me any noteworthy achievement at all. I dont know what has to be done. Will you guys please tell me what to do?

Hey Sunil.
I guess you would have to think of an indirect manner of contribution you mdae towards the organisation, your team, your department. Think of occasions where you may have contributed towards achieveing something that was difficult or was not on target.
At the same time if u still cant think of anything then creat a situation
