pick any normal situation in your life... but which "you" think is significant...
write something about it..
then consult with a person who can help you in presenting it in a formal way..

Well there is a very strong laterals culture here and a lot of companies look only for work ex while recrutiing.
AND WHEN DID U NOT SUBMIT THE PROOF OF EXP???
cause its required in iriginal during ur GDPI!!!
do clarify when u did not submit it!

Even i did ws nt askd fr wrk ex proof....nehw my ques is abt the OBC issue impact...m asking this cuz i was told every IIM s handling it separately as it thinks......ne idea wat ll the way fwd for IIM I......result delays?? ..seat reduction for Gen candidates??

See in my honest opinion your wrok exp certificates should have been collected. But if they are not they will be during registration for the coures (it could well be a way to reduce students frrom making multiple copis of work ex certificates for every GDPI they attend)
As for the QUOTAs issue I think we should all wait for any official announcement from either the administration at IIM I or then MHRD which is the gevrning body.
I cnat and would not like to comment on this issue without knowing the course of action

A copy of the work-ex certificate(s) was NOT mentioned in the list given in the call letter. during the gd / pi, they took only the mentioned documents. i guess it hardly matters as they can easily do that at the time of admission.

Heys thanks... Actually just wanted to know if work ex as such does not count for final selection as they did not demand any copies during the GDPI. Also, I noticed that the class is highly skewed towards freshers and non-engineers.... (vis-a-vis other IIMs)

well as it is seen our senior batch had a work experince avegae of above 1 year. but ours does not seem to be such.
THE IIMs generally have weightages that are not known to anyone and are hard to figure out because of the subjectivity in evaluations durin GD & PI. But rest assured a work experience is viewed psotively. How much it counts towards ur final score i am not sure, cuase as far asa i know IIM I does not have a policy where they say every year of work ex gets u 2 points like MH CET or some other private colleges.
Its more dependent on the valuation faculty make during their GDPI process rather than stuff like grades, work ex etc
