Hi Evry1 I just want a clarification: In the interview form the question asked is "Why do you wish to go for a management career?" Is this the same as " Why MBA?" which implies why management education & I feel the answer should be different from "Why management career?" Neha I feel u have nothing to worry about! Just wait for the results peacefully and u know why I say this, don't u? Isn't there anyone with a Commerce / CA backgrnd who wud like to share his /her experience? All the best !! krain

Hi Evry1 I just want a clarification: In the interview form the question asked is "Why do you wish to go for a management career?" Is this the same as " Why MBA?" which implies why management education & I feel the answer should be different from "Why management career?"
That's exactly what I wondered too... Justifying "y one wants to go 4 a mgmt career" is quite a different ball game than the usual "why mba" question.... Though i still aint totally sure, I'm planning to stress on why a "management career" and add in a postscript about the need for an mba... Typical mba fence-sitter style.... When u aint sure, go for the median
He was selected.Didn't you observe the IIMI logo in the left column?
Any idea what his CAT percentile was? He obviously dint have a good interview (rather there must have been people with lot better interviews na?). So if he is a high percentiler then it would mean that GD/PI has much lower weightage than we anticipate.
Of course, the criteria might be totally different this time around.

GD was fairly good.....Did not start off..but made around 4-5 decent entries at regular intervals in the discussion....Fairly OK with the written GD Summary as well...
GD done with we were escorted to a Waiting room with instructions that Interviews would be in random order ....they had also provided for Tea/Biscuits etc .......5 minutes later....I'm the first to be called for the Intv ....Me was midway through a cup of tea at that time ..Prof tells me..Don't worry you can bring the cup along ....
