as of now dsk..situation is very much like this..i mean if u are frm comp science nd joining Mysore on Aug 29 then..yep u will b there for one week or so getting ur behavioral nd office training..nd meanwahile given a form to fill ur choice of DC where u will like to b posted in preference order. after the training part u will go to the DC offered..and start working there.. and just what i know bout sort of work u will get in DC will b..first few seminars..boring ones..den some dept u will b assigned with..nd after 1.5 weeks inur DC u will start working seriouslly frm 8-8 ( well..this after DC joining part is frm the ref of one of my fren)
nd ya..incourse of one year u will b supposed to come and fininsh ur training im Mysore also!!

It alll depends on ur interest ...... If u want to gain on monetary terms u will gain a lot in software field compared to a government orgainsation....
But if u excel in your core engineering field ISRO is a gud option... At software u will be just one of the many but the pay wise still it will beat govt organisation....
join ISRO man. the exp there will be great and not many ppl will have the good fortunes of working there@

i tink..jb_dreamz gave u very clear picture..as far as i m concerned..i will say go for ISRO far better option..if u wanna go for ur MS abroad later on..nd even if u wanna go for MBA!!

One of my friends joining infy had an aggregate above 68% when attending the interview, but now it has slipped to 67.7%. Is it an issue????
