i cleared the Infy written test on 11 dec'05 and the interview on 12 dec'05.they asked me three puzzles in the interview and out of theree they didnt let me solve th first one coz i knew its approach as i told them i have gone thru the same kind of puzzle while preparing for the written exam.so they asked me another from the test paper itself.i knew tht fr tht puzzle i narrowed down to a particular extent and after tht i made an analysis and wrote the ansers.then they asked me one more which i quickly solved using hit and trial method.but they asked me to approach it logically. i started but i was taking some time and then they asked me to leave it and for the rest part of my interview i was extremely confident and was very effective on my communication skills and the questions they asked me.can say tht in short i have a doubt in my mind tht whether i m gonna get a final call or not.really got ants in my pants
.very anxious and worried.i went thru the posts and i found tht very few get rejected after clearing the written.so i will be lying down if anyone can help me and gimme a soothing answer to my query..WILL I BE ABLE TO FIND MYSLEF AT INFY MYSORE OR NOT???Guys Help me this anxiouness is DAMN KILLING ME.

well buddy m not a veteran but having gone thru the process myself and by what u have written there is no reason why u shudn't get a call ... but then if evrything was so predictable ...life wud be so easy... so chill man

Go through this thread, as the question has already been answered. Anyways, it can take 1-2 months. You may even get the final call in a couple of weeks. 😃

I have a specific query about Infy:
Was rejected in a PI of Infy last year in Mumbai(with 2.5 years work ex) as I don't have 60% aggregate in BE
Now I'm in PGDBM at IMT-G and they visited last year here with similar criteria even for post-grad!
If anyone knows of any case of any guy in Infy with less than 60% in grad,please let me know ASAP

hey jayshree you have no cause to worry trust me. normally the CS/IT background guys get thir joining mails within a week but the non CS background takes time.however here the next batch is joining from 29 jan so u can relax u can hope to get a mail by 21 jan

No offenses meant, but this sounds like asking someone else to live your life.:) Just be really sure of what you want to do in life and the light will surely come. And most importantly, don't join a job to be on the safer side while preparing for any entrance exam because you may have to substantiate what you have done at work.
Take some time, but make sure you take your own decision. All the best.
