If you think you can crack the exams you are targeting,it hardly matters.You should be able to justify the reason that made you take a drop.There is a healthy distribution of seats between work ex and fresher clan.You can check the sites of different B schools. One of my friends scored 99.64,got calls from IIM C and IIM Rohtak and finally converted the last one.He took one drop after 12th and the other one after his Btech. My other friend got a backlog during his engineering,took a drop after graduation and now he is in XLRI. Regards!

Few of the colleges considered good in operations are NITIE,Mumbai and SJMSOM, IIT Mumbai.
NITIE intake is through CAT and SJMSOM intake is through JMET . The constraint for both these colleges is that they permit only engineers to apply as per eligibility criteria till 2010-2012 session.
