IRMA exam Analysis by IMS for your reference.

Hi,now almost every institute has come up with their analysis.
But there is no unanimity even over question types,so we can just take their cutoffs as a datum and not as a lakir on patthar,
score ranges from 80 given by cl to 100 by ims.So finally it comes to analysing our own scores with the guidance of seniors and guidelines provided by institutes.
Can seniors throw light on weightage of gd and pi in final selection?Plz help us on that.:
ALSO WHAT KIND OF CAREER PATH WE CAN HAVE AFTER IRMA? I MEAN CAREER GROWTH,NOT ONLY MONEY GROWTH.
ON WHAT POSITIONS DO IRMANS WORK IN INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS LIKE UNDP ETC,

The exact weightage of GD/PI is not known, but it has got significant proportion thts for sure....at the same time unlike other B-Schools IRMA GD/PI depends a lot on how u justify ur decision to join IRMA....
Regarding career path, yaar it depends a lot on what kind of career u choose to live with...I will advice u to visit this site www.irmans.org....u will get the profile of our alumini....one thing I can tell u is that whether they are working in NGO/Co-operatives or NGOs, they have done well are on key positions...

Hi guys... her's my sectional breakups
I attempted only 104 Qs
Attempts Expected Score
VA-RC- 37 32+
LR 30 26+
GK 30 24+
Qunt\DI 13 12.75
I didn't get time to attempt Quants\DI the Qs were so easy :(
Overall score expected= 90-94.GK was quite easy.
So i don't think that i won't get thru. But i'll try next time 😃 
i'll get thru next time. I'm very very confident.
The results of IRMA exam will be out latest by 30th Jan 2007

Unlike CAT,I RMA test is only a small hurdle. The major one is interview. It's all about convincing urself why u want to join IRMA, then try ur luck with the profs here.
There is a doc called 'mandatory discloure' in IRMA website. all aspirants please do read it

Friend - It will help us if you ppl can tell us what sort of Qs r generally asked in the interview.
U seniors can share ur experiences, so that v can be prepared to face the Qs boldly.

from our centre ... (i think from entire Tamil nadu ...) only 103 took the test .. that made me think that the total wud sum up to 7k .. now i shd start preparing seriously for the PI ..

hi puys as ovee has already brought out the most imp question i would only tell u that do not ignore ur academics cos a lot of unexpected Qs r askd frm the area. the undercurrent thruout the interview would b the checking n measurement of ur personality n its suitablity in the shoes of a rural manager.
one thing more talk from ur mind not ur heart if u feel that u can do better work for the rural populace by sitting in a bank cabin rather than an NGO office then state that, but subtly;-)

yaar it all depends on day....but generally they do ask some questions on acads.....I had 2 yrs work-ex in software but I was still asked questions on Production Engg, its being my branch of Engg. So be prepare for it.......

for the academic part of ur interview prep i will just suggest that immaterial of wether u hav a workex or not u shud go back and brush ion the basix as the faculty here comes from fields as diverse as commerce to scince to arts to engg and hav been on the job of scrutinizing ppl for yrs so take care that u r not caught offguard.

yaar electronics mein bhi communication part ki prep kar lena...questions are not bouncers...standard quest. just 2 chk the basic understanding of the subject....

Well friends
Also we should not neglect the GD part .For GD we need fluency in speaking . I can give very good points . But not confident of speaking without interrupting . But will try hard .
