Maybe re-applicants or the consultants on the forum can confirm - I think the calls might be grouped by years of experience buckets - since panels would have been scheduled accordingly.
Also - since the calls will come in well into November and the adcom is going to inform us only about 5-7 days in advance, there is really no reason to say that R1 calls are done.

My guess is that, perhaps, on the basis of decreasing combined score of GMAT and Work Experience.

Very true. Until first week of November, ISB would keep issuing calls.
there is no sequence of sending invites stay patient
we will get it
I have a small question... Is there a way to find the total number of R1 applicants who are active or just following posts in PG?
also... why is it thet this time there is soo less activity on PG as compared to last year (as I see from the last years thread)
@kanusep12 PG is just a %age of the number that must have actually applied..
& yes, the activity here is way lesser than last year! but it tends to build up closer to the end.. especially before the results r out!

Hi, thanks for providing valuable insight related with guys who engage in mud throwing against applicants who are not from main stream.I have observed that there are many applicants these days especially from main stream ,who does not have anything positive in their profile other that merely getting high GMAT score and who are often rejected in the first round by the well informed ADCOM of great B.School, are very jealous of non traditional applicants doing well in the B.School.I am shortlisted for interview in both IIM A/C executive MBA , and I really had bad experience of reading tainted posts by many mental/frustrated/failed guys targeted against diverse candidate on this so called great public forum.

hoping for one, but given my 'great camera presence' , i am loosing hope, pretty fast...

@maihuna said:I have never seen a more nonsensical approach of differntiating profile than this one. What the heck you meant by saying running business? What sort of business? Of what kind? Is it bullshit family business which is nothing more than glorified resume editing or some venture of nonsensical scale? I am not sure which part of the earth you reside, but I seriously doubt quality applicants in ISB who are running credible business. Ironically those who are running credible business they are in boards of ISB or glorified dignified publicized advertized and what not STARR guest faculty. Before you bark back what I meant by successful business is something liek flipkart, inmobi, something of measurable sort....not something like xyz business which basically comes from fraud candidates who didn't had a job..so why not enterprenureship on resume...
Ii'll spare you more verbal bashing.. but seriously, where do you get your information & on what do you base your opinions! just for kicks, try starting your business or joining a start-up n turn it into a flipkart! maybe then you'll understand that challenges are very different in every field and in scale. there is no right or wrong/ good or bad challenge.. what u make of it is what defines you.. for eg: managing an existent team is very different from putting a team together.. both are equally credible & equally challenging! Mind-chow!

2nd that!

@maihuna said:you are a bozo...and I am 100% sure about that....and should refrain from making personnel comments...who the heck is asking someone to be as successful as reliance or so...but yeah guys like flipkart are definetly the top notch enterprenures of the day...even the inmobi one....but they are great individuals with outstanding achievements... point I was trying to make is something worthwhile...and I am sure there is lack of quality enterprenures at least in ISB kind of set up...having fairytale resume is definetly in abundance...my point of which part of the earth was also earnestly about pointing some regional facts...and will take back those words if it feels offending...
true that there are a lot many 'fake entrepreneurs out there'.. but stereotyping on a pre-conceived notion is just a wrong practice.. wouldn't you agree? especially if it'll demean those you are actually worthy..
more importantly, it'll only be fair to trust that the ISB panel is wise enough to distinguish candidates & their profiles based on merit and faff.. i would think that is why the whole exercise of essays.. na?

Please don't drag me into the mud slinging, but I definitely hope you got your essays spell checked before submitting them.
Points to be noticed -
Please differentiate between Personnel and Personal
And spell Definitely correctly.
With good intentions
Yours truly
@maihuna @chuchu15
I think sharing personal opinion is good thing as long as it doesn't become personal. One should refrain from any personal attack. What potential one has to succeed in the admission process of any B-school is the work of the Adcom of that school and is none of our business. We should just try to motivate each other in achieving success. And if cant do that, we are just defeating the purpose of this great platform.
Hey I got an interview call for October 21st...I am from Hyd (Chn)...
But I have a problem...I have a very very important family ceremony that falls on that very day and obviously cannot be postponed...and I would definitely like to postpone the interview if possible...is that possible...have any of you guys had any experience or tried doing it? Or do you have any idea if they consider such requests, considering the extreme importance of the ceremony? And what would be the right method and channel to proceed?

If you scroll back some pages, there is one guy who said he is trying to postpone his interview. That person was the first to report i/v invite on PG. I think it will be better to get in touch with him
