ISB Class of 2014 aspirants.

hi folks I m new to this community..my acads are as folows:

xth-78% CBSE
xIIth-76% CBSE
ENGG-70% Pune University
WE-2 yrs n counting

guys i have decided to appear for GMAT can you guys please update me or to be precise guide me thru the process as in wen to appear for the exam n all and while following this thread i got to knw R1 and R2 can someone brief me on this plzzzzzzzz....:

i need guidance puys please help me out ....:cheers:

This is not the right thread for GMAT prep mate. For R1 and R2, they are application rounds. R1 is the first round where the deadline last year was September 15 and the result was in November 15 while R2 is round 2 where deadline last year was nov 30 and results was on Feb 15.

for GMAT, you can start from www.mba.com
You can appear for the GMAT any day you want to, provided there is a slot available and before the application deadlines.
If I am not mistaken, R1 deadline is mid of Sep and R2 deadline is end Nov.
For R1 application, you will get a chance to register in early May as per ISB.

Build your story. Justify the switches and link them up to your short-term + long-term goals. And how the ISB MBA fits into your scheme of things. These need to reflect in your essays. I know that was a little over the top... You could contact the adcom in April-May for a detailed profile evaluation and more constructive advice πŸ˜ƒ ATB!

You are right. Manhattan SC guide is very good. For CR some refer to Princeton (confirm it from someone) otherwise if you go through OG in an exhaustive manner I think that will be more than sufficient. For additional practice you can always look up to "BTG".
