@Fir_se_applying said:Hahaha...khoda pahaad...nikla chuha ! But I still believe its your roll no. dude ....and so is mine at 91 Cheers ! Happy Deepawali and wait for the good news to follow. This is for all the people who are waiting for their admission as well as interview calls (for the R2), just believe in yourself. You destiny might have things stored for you which you never imagined. All the best to everyone !
the only way we can figure this out is if any applicant with an app number change earlier didnt get called for interview. then it means that the app number change is immaterial
ok ppl.....u all need to relax..........the application no is being decoded and will change for everyone,......it does not signify anything,...............i had called up ISB and confirmed this....plz don't conclude from this..... good luck to everyone and to me too..,...happy diwali π
ur most welcome,.....i spent the whole of yesterday getting tensed and hence called up isb first thing today..........nth to worry about π
also if isb will change app no and that is " assumed" to be roll no.....then whats the point of waiting for the result and then why does isb has to send the result anyway to every applicant individually.........its just to ease things that they are decoding application nos
Hi all! Had my interview yesterday at HYD. It was more like a conversation. Very friendly panel, they put me to ease with an easy "tell us about yourself" question. They asked me mainly about the challenges I've faced at my work and projects that I've led. Towards the end they asked me some general questions on govt policies and so I chose to speak about FDI in retail (I am from FMCG). They read my one word essay but did not ask any questions around it. The interview went on for about 40-45 minutes, they tried to put me off balance a few times, but I realized that they were not really looking for answers but were looking to test my nerves.
I suggest be calm, relax. There is no problem in owning up and saying "I am sorry , I don't know" in case you try and then can't arrive at a suitable answer.
Best of luck guys! Hope to see you at the ISB Class of 2014 π π ![]()
What do u guys think as to when would ISB finalise the list of selected applicants? I certainly dont think it will on 15th and considering ISB is not working tomorrow , we just have 14th ) 1 working day ) before the results. I have a feeling that the results are generally freezed atleast couple of days before the deadline( 15th Nov for R1) or probably the decide on the applicant EOD of the interview day.
My guess is they should be ready with the results by EOD, tomo!!
@harichids said:@sudhir3127 although tomo is off, ISB's Adcom could be working tomo to push things through (taking a wild guess given my exp in IT ). They are generally on time with regard to declaration of results. Fingers crossed.!! Cheers My guess is they should be ready with the results by EOD, tomo!!
Puys, I have been following the posts on the change in app no. There is no need to worry at all. Take my case. My app no. at the time of submission was 1400xx, then it changed to 2014/yy before the interview and post interview just yy (and xx - yy = 9). So is there anything you can decode? i guess nothing. Also, the roll no. will be allotted to the admits only after you pay the initial confirmation deposit of 2 lacs. So chill...wishing all PUYS a very happy and a prosperous Diwali !
Just wanted to confirm the 2nd round deadline. It used to be the 14th Nov. But what i see on the site is 30th Nov. Was it changed?
Yesterday during my late evening interview session at Hyderabad I happened to discuss casually with the Ad-com who mentioned they might not have much of a Diwali. With some skype interviews getting done today they mentioned they might have to work through to get decisions out on time for 15th..
