It was indeed a true learning experience for each one of us. I haven't learnt about myself so much so in the last 25 years as I've learnt in the last 4 months. Whatever may be the result, irrespective of whether I get in or not, this experience was truly wonderful. The anxiety, the tense situation, controlling our emotions, interview day, etc !!! All the best guys. I'm not able to handle the last few hours of stress and resigning from here for the next 7 hours. I know I will not be able to concentrate on my work and am really worried whether this wait of 8 hours will translate into another wait of 1 year !! Perhaps, I will be able to use this experience next year, if, God forbid, I get dinged ! Already started contemplating my back up plans :(

7 hours to go... I wish today was a holiday.. Cannot concentrate on work.

I have been a true silent observer over the last few months. Primarily, i was trying to find out the traits that differentiated between the haves and the have-nots, and i guess i have now cracked the secret to ISB's admission philosophy:
On the basis of the replies and comments people have made in the lead up to interview calls and now, i can safely say that whoever is the biggest dimwit is likely to get an acceptance mail from ISB. The amount of effort you people put in trying to understand what the app number means, when ISB has clearly stated that it has no relation with your app status is mind-boggling. The very vocal ones deserve a special pat on their backs for not being afraid of showing to the world that they have no brain cells in them.
The highly motivated "Tony Robbins" of the group should think of joining the Alcoholics Support Group instead of joining ISB.

The point is...the results will come when they have to. Just because this is free does not mean you speculate over everything and make a fool out of yourself every passing minute.

I opened the application portal.. I read

.

.

"Interview Status: Shortlisted".. And then there was this word "Accepted" below that... My eyes opened wide only to read

.

.

.

"Accepted the interview invitation on XXXXX.."

.

.

@octopus07 Dude...really!
@octopus07 Not sure if you think calling everyone else fools puts you in a better situation, but it does make you sound pretty arrogant and full of yourself. (being silent observer was a wise thing to do, but the moment you decided to break your silence, you made a bigger fool outta yourself)

People speculate because they've put in efforts and are anxious about results, and it's only natural. They are not robots that will follow a perfect behavior. I see nothing wrong in people speculating, asking questions, being anxious, being excited or heart broken, because such events are potential milestones in their lives.

You have a right to free speech as well, but you are probably making a fool of yourself trying to stand out.

@ others. I love the spirit on this forum, the way you all have been trying to encourage to each other, wishing luck for results etc., it's commendable.

6 hours to go.......

@octopus07 I have been a silent observer too and am waiting for the final decision too. Like me, you too have been reading posts but haven't just spoken what you feel about the 'app numbers', so you too are one of everyone here.

Yes, i agree its hilarious to speculate about these numbers but its normal human behavior too. We all want the news asap and don't want to be patient.

what about working at ISB after getting MBA from the same ???

for most part of the process I've been a silent observer myself... but I fully agree with mbagyan2012... kudos to every1 on this thread to keep it going and very much alive... I visit this thread 'coz i share the feeling that others are able to put in words.... I would suggest octopus dude... if you feel you don't belong here ur very much welcome to leave the thread but your condescending comments for others are not welcome here....

ocotopus yaar..take a break..have a Kit -Kat
