@Tan23 Umm, just to confirm, is the comparison between IIM 1 year PGPX(executive) or the 2 year PGP? I guess the eligibility for PGPX is 27 years or above, so it's not an option for all of us.
Just wanted to write few things about this forum. I personally think it is a great forum and gives its followers a good enough idea about ISB, and other trends associated with it. It has been very helpful following this forum. And the momentum that this forum picked up yesterday was really Awesome really enjoyed every second of it around a 1000 post yesterday itself. Had got a deferred admit last year. Got an email stating my campus would be 'Hyderabad' this morning :)

Yes, IIM PGPEX is not an option for all of us. No, I wasn't comparing the two, but asking for preferanonymous' opinion, since s/he too is an international applicant 😃
The discussion was more on the within/outside India placement and networking scenario at ISB.

I am applying In R2. But you don't imagine how much i am clung to this forum from past 2 days. Following each and every post to see how emotions run even for high achievers. Irrespective of the results whoever survived the journey of applying to ISB is a WINNER. Enjoyed every bit of it.

Has anybody with experience on the higher side (say around 6,7,8 years) received an interview call ??
As I mentioned I didnt receive an iv call..GMAT 680 with >7 years of work ex...
One of my friend has 720 GMAT with 8 years of ex...no call to him...i could believe if 720 cannot get a call how can I...
Hence I assume its because our exp is on the higher side....
any views please....

@naman.tuteja i have exp of close to 6 ... was interviewed but waitlisted.. I do think that more the work ex the less your chances of making it .. due to difficulty in placements
@naman.tuteja dude spoke to adcom... all waitlist calls over... they r in the process of sending the rejects... so i guess game's over for isb
