ISB Class of 2014 aspirants.

Hey Guys,

Been a silent observer for a long time.......anyway, finally managed to get my evaluators to submit my recos as well.

Now the long wait begins...All the best everyone.

cheers

Any idea on total applciations recived adn seats offered last round?

@Worldpeace93 I understand the anxiety... but R1 is now in the past and we cannot change the number of admits... nobody can. Lets concentrate on preparing for he interview such that we get an admit irrespective of the number of seats already taken in R1...

@Sagarika21 : r u there on the FB page of ISB Co2014?
Yes..I am.. may i know why the query?

@raghupro I have seen a link in previous posts which says that interviews will begin by December 15th in Hyderabad.

Thanks for the info!

Whether candidates who fail to make to interview stage are notified?

In nutshell, I understand as following, please tell me if I am wrong:
Interview calls will be rolled out for (Hyderabad location) from December 15 and then it will continue till January end. So we just have to be patient till January end as we may be notified anytime between December 15 to January end.
@Mandar86 precisely... But according to an infosession i attended, they rollout interview calls on a rolling basis. Earlier you apply earlier the interview call. This is normally true but there still were cases where people got a call at the very end inspite of applying early... So u never know... So do not loose hope come what may...

@vjmannur Ah, so the wait will be excruciating!

What about the rejected candidates, i mean those who don't make to the interview stage? Are they notified or one just has to wait till January end to know the fate?

@Mandar86 One has to wait till the last day of the interview.... they are not notified until 15th of feb....
@Mandar86 I am quite clueless about that. May be some applicants for R1 can answer that better.

Yep...
@vjmannur I don't think the interviews are on a rolling basis. Interviews decisions are based on availability of panel members for a particular set of applicants, say applicants from the finance/financial services industry. That would also explain why ppl who applied early got a call quite late.

HI all,
My evaluator is unable to submit her recommendation. It says invalid URL though the last day is today. Any one else facing similar issue?? She dropped a mail to ISB stating the issue.

@swna request them to retrigger the link

@punters11 Agree, I am an R1 applicant and I had submitted my form on 11 Sep. (App id was in the 200s). I got an interview call on 5 Nov and my interview was on 8 Nov (the initial last date of interviews). So, there is no logic or order of calls rolling out.

Dude that makes sense. Now you have blown my hopes away for longer interview prep. I asked my evaluators to submit the reccos today. I thought I will get lot of time to prepare if my app is completed towards the end. Thanks for pointing this out. Otherwise I wud've become carefree.

Anyone out there with Pharma/Healthcare/Biotech background? Anyone else aspiring for Healthcare specialization, please get in touch...

@srm85 hey many of us search for people from our background or industry on pagalguy... I think not finding anyone gives us some sort of confidence as we suddenly start believing we have an edge in diversity!!! :p

@vjmannur Thanks for your reply.

I guess that makes sense.

@shrikant0218 I said they try to keep it on rolling basis as far as possible. But there are circumstances and situations here they have to push the dates... And this as said in an ISB infosession...
