Hi Everybody and especially the puys from Bangalore,
Firstly sorry for missing out the :cheers::cheers::cheers::drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking:at stones/peecos .. I neither got rejected nor accepted .. but ended up waitlisted. was utterly disappointed never the less... but was still hopeful .. on 6th march was disappointed again .. when my waitlist didn't disappear... I am still waitlisted. But my hope has ended.. it took me some time to get back .. but I am here .. and here with more fight in me than ever before
So any other preparationsessions planned 😃 ??
its nice to see so much activity on this thread... it actually took me over a day to reach this page 😃 .. I def think this time we'll reach 2K pages..

The exact manner in which the essay question is framed might change slightly but by the large the key themes will remain the same.
So if you strip aside the grammar and fancy language what it really boils down to is answering the basic stuff like - why MBA? Why ISB? What do you bring to the table? Short/long term goals and how does MBA/ISB figure in the scheme of things?
Guys tell me, if I am mentioning my achievments or anything in EC is it necessary that we produce some kind of certificates?

ISB doesn't ask for any certificates during application or interview stages. However they can do some background checks so don't fib

Well if you r new , I guess it doesn't matter if it is the old format or the new format ..
The new format applies from June 4. So if you can get your prep. done before that you can get the old format.
As a recap/introduction here is my profile,
GMAT - 720/5.5 ( Q49 , V 40 )
Engg - 79%
12th - 90%
10th - 93%
720 is pretty good yaar.. and your grads are pretty high..
Wait for the feedback in April before you dcide on the retake.

I would prefer to take GMAT after the change in pattern, kaun essay likhega. So its upto you, if you are comfortable writing 2 essays you will have make ur attempt before june

What tangible change can I bring in my profile? I am in dire straits after an immense personal loss...I am totally directionless.
