@frenzyster dude, everyone knows here I was not at all serious about what I said about girls. I was kidding and please let me inform you that you are too late to be hero in their eyes. If you are going to read my previous posts, you will find that I was and I am chilling out here. Its not a Woman rights forum, where my comments should be treated seriously. Having said that who wants to be in a Bschool where there are no women like IIMs. I respect girls a lot. Forget all the posts and lets chilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll buddy. Its party time....
Man I thought this is beginning of some entertaining debates and arguments.
Street fight videos on youtube if we are damn lucky...
@Kode_A I got that... Sorry I probably should rephrase my question. What I wanted to know whether this ranking is based on the PGPEX program or their 2 year PGP.
PGPEX Dude.
PGP is not ranked.
I am not sure but may be because PGP takes freshers in majority and we also have reservation quotas etc.
I feel so coz FT ranking is for international students. Which should be the best college for a world citizen to go. May be. This is just my speculation.
@Kode_A hmm.. that matches my understanding. What I had understand is the PGP is equated to Masters in management rather than MBA and the PGPEX is equivalent to the international MBA degree. Pity both ISB and IIM slipped. Anyway thanks.
@beekay If you ask me honestly I think Indian Courses are still ranked higher than they should be.
ISB is my dream college because -
1. Best 1 yr course in India
2. Respected name in International Circuit
3. Compared to Harvard, Oxford etc ISB is still dirt cheap
4. If one wants to work in India or start a venture of his/her own, having a degree from best college in India shall have more weight-age that MBA from US or UK (seldom ur college shall be remembered, hence no point spending big). Assuming one doesnt make it top 10
So even if ISB was ranked 100 by FT, still for most of us ISB shall be dream come true.
And I feel ISB and IIMs do not attract foreign students.
Gora MBA aspirants or anyone if at all wants to learn in Asia - Singapore, and HK are preferred locations over India.
And I dont blame Indian Colleges for this. I strongly feel internal market (number of applicants) is huge.
Our colleges are helping so many Indian kids live their dream, then why bother living up to US or UK's expectations.
Our colleges are producing exactly what Indian Market wants.
I dont see any use of having a Indian Institute ranked in top 10 but has not even 10% Indian students in it.
@Kode_A how are people getting ideas?? not sure.. probably some other reecha around?? I am neither from NIFT (as mentioned earlier) nor i am from IIT. I am from IT field.. somebody probably just goofed up.. hehehehe.... wish i could be from IIT (sigh....) could have given some brownie points for that

@Kode_A I never said anything about @reechaanywhere on this forum or outside the forum. I swear to God on this.I apologize if someway or the other, I have hurt sentiments or emotions of any kind.I hope ISB will admit me based on my conduct on this forum and not my background. Keeping my fingers crossed till 15th. However, I can eat food with fingers crossed but ISB is worth the pain
ha ha ha ha... Abe Einstein u remember you had asked me whom would I prefer: IT Male dude or an IIT female applicant.

Then morning should be fine dude.
I landed at 4 AM for 2 PM interview.
Went to a fren's house though. See what jugad you have. :)
I had my i/v yesterday at Hyderabad. It was rough. The panel was probably not convinced with why I wanted to do an MBA and were probably not convinced about my future aspirations. It was a stress interview, came to a point where the panel gave an alternate theory of why my goals won't be realized. Frankly, there were moments where I knew I was not being clear. No questions about EC. Questions only about work-ex, future goals, that's it. I had only one regret, when I was asked to give an example where I displayed leadership abilities, I missed on mentioning one good point and filled with regret as soon as I left the room.
Anyways, I am glad I am done for now. Will wait for the results. Thanks to this thread for giving me dope on what's happening and what's not.
