ISB Class of 2014 aspirants.

@Mandar86 Indian IT Male........mba admissions are racists and this is like the worst caste to be in for mba admissions around the world. ;)

@francisroshan ah.. thx for the clarification!

Puts your achievement in the context :)

Good luck!

I guess people like us can still wait for one more week before posting this :)

Hi Guys,

How many of you would be interested in a book (from the perspective of an Indian applicant) which will help you clear all confusions related to various aspects of applying to top management programs like relevance of GMAT, work experience, help on essays and recomendations and also guidance of tackling the interviews?

Hi guys, I've got an email from ISB today and my interview is scheduled to be on 10th Feb. Can you please advise me on interview format and what can I expect in the interview. I'll be very thankful to you. I can be contacted at rohit(dot)sachdeva9211(at)gmail(dot)com

Congrats mate.. Can we get your profile please.

@rohitsa Congrats buddy..Can you please share your profile?

Thanks.

@King_Julian i have my i/v coming sunday and your experience is adding fuel to fire (in terms of my nerves) was it a stress interview from the word GO or the interview took that turn?
@King_Julian
dont worry brother... thats the way it was for most of us i guess.
@ammo44 elder folks.. to tell me that I need to remove the wrapper before cooking/eating my maggie?? Oh... gotch ya... that helps u know
@raghupro and @Gkkgk2003 , Thanks guys. I am a mechanical engineer with around 3 years of experience. I got 690 in GMAT. My academics were strictly okay. Now I need some help with the interview tips.
@vjmannur keep ur spirits high!!! now that the callss for 10th feb have started flowing in, u may get the i/v anytym soon!! do not worry.. all the best or rather best of luck! :)
This may seem out of place here...specially when the results are not out yet..but any reply is welcome .
The website mentions the result date as 15 feb but the workex has been asked upto 31st march in the application. if one gets selected does he need to submit work ex proof til 31st march?

Does anybody know about the deferral process ? how much time one gets to apply for deferral in case one gets selected?

Any of the puys who got a call for last week of Feb, could u pls share your profiles?

My profile:

Xth: 93.6% (CBSE)
XIIth: 78.8% - Science (CBSE)
Engineering from NIT Warangal CGPA: 7.54/10

Working in an investment banking middle office profile for a European Bank. ~16months till date.

My last CAT score was 97+ with 98+ in VALR

If I write GMAT in July, with 20+ months in work-ex, what would be an appropriate score for getting a call from ISB?

Also, what foreign institutes can I target if my budget is under 30lac. ?

How about programs in HK / Singapore? I would ideally look for a top-100 university.

If this doesn't seem to be the right forum to post such a question, can you please PM me?

# Mods please delete this post in that case

@ars123 Hey,
i think travelling on the day in the morning should be fine. the campus is about 45-60 mins from the airport once you are out.

also just wondering, what was your application number?

does anyone know if people are getting calls in order of application numbers or is it at random?
