Any more theories that you have come with up lately especially since that last one caused a real stir
@King_Julian You can apply for XL BM/HR with GMAT, as NRI
I had asked they said cut off was 740 for BM and 720 for HR
my GMAT is 660 :)

Slab on experience is something new to my ears.
Assuming it is true, I would still request you to check with the college adcom directly or other alumnies.
I always thought it is profile like yours which get 70 - 100 Lacs kinda packages in PGP courses. And kids (freshers) stick to +/- 20% of the avg salary. May be I was wrong to assume this.
But really bro, no. 1 give your 100% for the interviews and no. 2 - continue your research till you are satisfied.

in GMP you ll be sitting with goons like me who have a pretty avg GMAT score and have decent (5+) yrs of market experience. I really do not know how well market receives GMPians.

Unlike you I was weighing Xl's GMP vs Narsee Monjee's 2 yrs PGP :)
few said to prefer NMIMS as its in Mumbai and its no. 1 course of the college
But many have said to go for GMP coz XL is XL :)

Well this is Plan C and D.

A is ISB
B - I am still waiting to hear from IIM Indore 2 yr PGP, they haven't declared list of interviewees for GMAT applicants yet. was supposed to be last week, but its a govt kinda organization, so I understand.

@punters11 - Bro Julian has applied for GMP course.
Unlike me he was grilled at GMP and ISB was a cake walk kinda interview :)

Cheers,

@punters11 @rochak22 - I take ISB as IIT Mumbai's Btech in Mechanical Seat and XL's GMP as Mtech in your stream of choice.

Both have big brand names (ISB and XL) but market values Btech courses more than the Mtech courses of IIT

@Kode_AI Like the examples you quote

Finally, it is time for the interboo!

Debrief: by 7 p.m IST!

Anyone saw/read Mr. Modi's speech at SRCC college ???
@Kode_A Dude, don't NRI applicants get the result within 2 weeks of their interview..You have any communication on this and when was your interview?

I hope you can spell better on the one-word essay
@punters11 no bro... results are declared together I guess. Never heard of this 2 weeks thing.

ISB was on 17th Jan, GMP on 18th Jan
@Kode_A http://pgpapp.isb.edu/user/KeyDates.html

It's actually within 3 weeks for international applicants
@punters11 Bro international applicants are non-Indian Passport holders.

NRIs are still Desis :)

Indians with Portugese, Canadian, UK, US or whatever passport they have, they can apply in that cat. And of course the true international applicants too.

Guys this is an open question whoever can throw some light on it...Since there is a waitlist for the R1 candidates ..Is there something similar for the R2 candidates?

Tell me about it......
@delatpg

Here is what I read.

I kinda liked it.

"If we want to make a place in the global bandwagon of progress, Swaraj should be the focus.
By Swaraj I mean good governance. By good governance I mean, P2G2. Pro-People - Pro Government.
Governments in India have been acting as fire-fighters.
Today there is an atmosphere of hopelessness - everyone thinks they want to run away.
This is my fourth term as CM of Gujarat, and from experience I know that even with the present set up, we can make progress and achieve much more.
I am a very positive man, I believe we can change the situation." - Modi Bhai
