@King_Julian said:@Kode_A - Hey buddy, I appreciate everything you said, and I am going to talk to AdCom soon. (Thanks for the idea). ISB was a stress interview and I'd give myself 30-70 for selection-non selection. GMP interview was stressful too. Coming to the two year courses, I know they are very good and not less than any IIM courses in any sense.Important thing - Do not call yourself a goon or something. I know a friend with 750+ in GMAT went to XL GMP and is doing real good now. Good people go to XL GMP. My profile just so you know:X - 84%, XII - 91%, Grad (NIT Trichy) - 6.58 CGPA. Work Ex : A leading vendor IT company - 2+ yrs, A leading IB - 4.5 yrs. ECs : Drummer & Guitarist in a rockband. Play for raising money. (Unfortunately, I did not give the founding rock band example, when they asked me "an example where I displayed leadership abilities", which is killing me from the iv day). Of course, I read books, I play cricket (silver medal holder at Univ level)...
@cookee said:Debrief:Had my interview at 10:00 am on the 9th. Skype glitche, made impossible to turn video on, so it ended up being a telephonic interview. Was pretty disappointed about that, as I feel eye contact and body language make a huge differenceI was asked regular questions, it was very conversational. 1)How was your skydiving experience. Did you do it alone or in tandem?2)You received 2 individual excellence awards - tell us about those projects and responsibilities3)What were the challenges? How did you overcome them?4)What would you change about what you did?5)What would you retain about the way you handled the situation?6)Do you plan on coming back to India for good? Said yes, gave reasons?7)Seems like you are very straightforward person? Works in the US, because people can take it? In india, it is all about sugar coating? How will you deal with that?8)One achievement you are very proud of?9) Questioned me on a quote in my essay - "You can connect the dots only looking backwards, not forward". Very interesting. Explain what you mean.10) As an architect if there was one thing you'd change about/add to the city of Bombay, what would it be?11)The order is messed up on this one, but there were long term goal, how MBA fits and why ISB/India...12)Any questions for usI thought I answered some decently, and wished I could slip in more content and cohesiveness on others.
