@Kode_A

Interesting discussion about NDA and UPA mate.. This thought struck me How would it be if Manmohan is the captain of UPA cricket team when UPA is playing Rest of India ...

"Manmohan won the toss and is not able to decide whether to bat or bowl first. He has had two meetings with team mates and ex-cricketers. He now wants a 'chintan shivir' with the audience. The match already got delayed by half an hour and we are still waiting for a decision."

UPA has always been reluctant to take big decisions. We are seeing a change lately ..But I have this feeling that NDA 's decisions would be driven by emotion rather than logic and reason ..but they wud take quick decisions. My personal opinion ! Modi is a good marketing guy .. He is a man with a mission and vision.. but what worries me is his Hindutva stance and RSS roots. A leader needs to be calm and unbiased in sensitive situations like that of Godra ..

Loved this article : http://www.thehindu.com/opinion/lead/the-man-who-would-rule-india/article4390286.ece

"There is something of Indira Gandhi in Narendra Modi, and perhaps just a touch of Sanjay Gandhi too 창€” as in the brash, bullying, hyper-masculine style, the suspicion (and occasional targeting) of Muslims. Either way, Mr. Modi is conspicuously unfitted to be the reconciling, accommodating, plural, democratic Prime Minister that India needs and deserves. He loves power far too much. On the other hand, his presumed rival, Rahul Gandhi, shirks responsibility entirely (as in his reluctance, even now, to assume a ministerial position). Indian democracy must, and shall in time, see off both. "

Thanks for calling Suicide helpline ..
Press 1 to die the UPA way ..
Press 2 to die the NDA way ..
I wonder "does it matter coz I am going to die anywayy"
@anandogs I wish I was a pro, just did it once. It is pretty expensive. Lot of fun though!

@Kode_A - Hey buddy, I appreciate everything you said, and I am going to talk to AdCom soon. (Thanks for the idea). ISB was a stress interview and I'd give myself 30-70 for selection-non selection. GMP interview was stressful too. Coming to the two year courses, I know they are very good and not less than any IIM courses in any sense.Important thing - Do not call yourself a goon or something. I know a friend with 750+ in GMAT went to XL GMP and is doing real good now. Good people go to XL GMP. My profile just so you know:X - 84%, XII - 91%, Grad (NIT Trichy) - 6.58 CGPA. Work Ex : A leading vendor IT company - 2+ yrs, A leading IB - 4.5 yrs. ECs : Drummer & Guitarist in a rockband. Play for raising money. (Unfortunately, I did not give the founding rock band example, when they asked me "an example where I displayed leadership abilities", which is killing me from the iv day). Of course, I read books, I play cricket (silver medal holder at Univ level)...
Dude you have got very impressive profile.
I really hope ISB happens for you.
But even if not I am sure u shall go great in your career.

And Guitarist ???

(PS: boss agar yeh banda single hai toh batch ki pehli ladki yeh hee patayega...
so all the singles pray he is either married or at least committed 😁 )

Debrief:Had my interview at 10:00 am on the 9th. Skype glitche, made impossible to turn video on, so it ended up being a telephonic interview. Was pretty disappointed about that, as I feel eye contact and body language make a huge differenceI was asked regular questions, it was very conversational. 1)How was your skydiving experience. Did you do it alone or in tandem?2)You received 2 individual excellence awards - tell us about those projects and responsibilities3)What were the challenges? How did you overcome them?4)What would you change about what you did?5)What would you retain about the way you handled the situation?6)Do you plan on coming back to India for good? Said yes, gave reasons?7)Seems like you are very straightforward person? Works in the US, because people can take it? In india, it is all about sugar coating? How will you deal with that?8)One achievement you are very proud of?9) Questioned me on a quote in my essay - "You can connect the dots only looking backwards, not forward". Very interesting. Explain what you mean.10) As an architect if there was one thing you'd change about/add to the city of Bombay, what would it be?11)The order is messed up on this one, but there were long term goal, how MBA fits and why ISB/India...12)Any questions for usI thought I answered some decently, and wished I could slip in more content and cohesiveness on others.
All the best for the 15th... I now so wish u too could have had managed to come down to Hyd... wish US was somewhere +/- 3 hrs GMT from India 😁 (then its affordable to travel)
