raven007 -ISB asks for atleast 2 years full time of work experience but at the same time gives deferred admission to some exceptional folks with outstanding candidature,so just gun for GMAT and make sure to write the essays very well.Your profile is very good, pick the 3 topmost qualities and achievements of your profile and highlight them through your essays and reccos.
Hi Is it too late to request for a feedback of my application last year?(Applied in R2).. I had not intended to re-apply, but considering it coz PlanB didnt quite work out either.. Can someone outline the process for obtaining feedback?

A deferred admit is not a candidate's right, it's only offered if you present a convincing argument. In my opinion 1-1.5 years of work-ex is actually pretty low. I would recommend that you spend another year at work and then apply when you have more than 2+ years of work-ex.
A huge part of the learning process at ISB is the classroom interaction and discussions and someone with so little work-ex will not be able to contribute fully in such discussions or be able to utilize them to the best possible extent.
Hi Puys, Can someone evaluate my profile? Class 10=84% Class 12=70.5% B.E (Electronics and Instru)=71%(Have a yr gap from class 12 to B.E,did not get WBJEE in first chance) Post Graduate Dip in S/W and Buisness MGmt=64%(Also have a yr gap here,no permanent job) Work Ex-6+ yr in IT Current Role-Team Lead(will get good recommend from manager/client) EC:-Dance,Sports GMAT:-Will take August(intend to join in 2013 class)
My Post Graduation was from good university with collaboration with a private college, but frankly speaking this did not help enhancing my profile as companies I have worked did not recognize it,this was a yr program only helped me to get placement in a reputed company.

" Dear Gaurav
Greetings from ISB.
Please note that we just started the feedback sessions for applicants who have not been selected for 2012-13 batch. However we made a note of your request, keeping in view the availability of the counselors we will certainly get back to you with the details of the feedback session very shortly.

I need some help in moving towards MBA and definitely @ ISB (hyderabadiii π )
Presently I am working in IT company with around 1.8yrs experience. I want to make it into ISB 2014 batch (by that time i will be touching down 3yrs experience).
Recently I got an offer from One of the top product company. However I am in dilemma to opt for it or not.
What I feel is, If I stay in present IT company, I might get a chance to go abroad and have good time in communicating with international clients (International work experience), though I have to compromise on my salary. If I choose product company, altogether I will be in different role and will have functional exposure.
Any idea will these factors effect my chance at ISB. If so, what will be the best path?
