Feeling a bit odd sitting in between people with such good profiles.
Anyways,like many of you,I am also thinking of a seat in ISB.Have got 26months of work ex. and m a mechanical engineer.Going to give GMAT for the 1st and probably the last time in my life.BTW,I m already into MBA(International Management Institute-Kolkata)-donno whether any of you have heard the name.
Just that zeal to get what I want is driving me to go ahead.Can anyone plzz help me asto how to prepare for GMAT? My work is more on the side of modeling and forecasting using the company's proprietary models. I am also involved in the production of a quarterly forecast analysis of the US energy sector which is sold to several clients.

How to make the best of today's info-session with ISB admissions team (8pm-9.30 pm)?
ISB Interview question: What steps have you taken to find out more about ISB? Candidate: I have attended a conference, an online info session and talked to current student XYZ.
Let me point out here, why it is important to interact with the b-school and its students or alumni.
B-schools like it when you demonstrate through your essays and interview that you have researched the b-school and your decision to apply is an informed one. Moreover, you can make a mention in your essays that you talked to an ISBian / attended an info-session, and that speaks highly of your interest in the program.
There are many ways in which you can highlight what you learned about the b-school:
1. show a fit with the values of the b-school (essay 1 & 3)
2. demonstrate your knowledge about the program features that will benefit you (essay 2)
3. explain that ISB resources available at can make you achieve your career goals (essay 2).
You can already ask about the application form items from the ISB team on another thread. I advise you to use this info-session to delve further into questions that will make you more aware of "why ISB is the right fit for you?".
