ISB Class of 2014 aspirants.

Did anyone get notified for interview calls for R1?

In triangle ABC, AC = 450 and BC = 300. Points K and L are located on AC and AB respectively such that AK = CK, and CL is the angle bisector of angle C. Let P be the point of intersection of BK and CL, and let M be the point on line BK for which K is the midpoint of PM. If AM = 180, find LP.

Anyone completed his/her interview??? Can you please share the interview experience??

How to make the best of today's info-session with ISB admissions team (8pm-9.30 pm)?

ISB Interview question: What steps have you taken to find out more about ISB? Candidate: I have attended a conference, an online info session and talked to current student XYZ.

Let me point out here, why it is important to interact with the b-school and its students or alumni.

B-schools like it when you demonstrate through your essays and interview that you have researched the b-school and your decision to apply is an informed one. Moreover, you can make a mention in your essays that you talked to an ISBian / attended an info-session, and that speaks highly of your interest in the program.

There are many ways in which you can highlight what you learned about the b-school:

1. show a fit with the values of the b-school (essay 1 & 3)

2. demonstrate your knowledge about the program features that will benefit you (essay 2)

3. explain that ISB resources available at can make you achieve your career goals (essay 2).

You can already ask about the application form items from the ISB team on another thread. I advise you to use this info-session to delve further into questions that will make you more aware of "why ISB is the right fit for you?".

To make today's info session most meaningful to you, base your questions on the following areas:

Β· Academics and what aspects tie with your learning needs?

Β· Extra-curricular activities at ISB

Β· Club activities and how you can benefit/contribute

Β· Experiential learning opportunities

Β· Career services and their support

Β· Placements in your industry of interest

We look forward to seeing you there! For those of you, who have not registered, there is still time. The details are:
