hardshps: Why should it affect? Unless you have no correlation/logic for the switch and Iam sure u wud have some solid reason to make such a move just before the admissions.
In the awards and activities section of application, it is mentioned to list college and community awards and scholarships. I did participate in college festivals, but could not make it to win an award. Outside college I got some certificates from the "Employee Union Fund" due to my outstanding results in school. I am not sure what to mention in this section. Please help me out!!!!

Hello,
How does the Average Doemstic Salary is calculated? Does this figure also include international placement figures by converting foreign currency to INR using purchasing parity OR it contains only INR based salaries.
Does ISB gives salary ranges in terms of percentage? Also what is the median salary?

@[581822:vishalpatil104] Hi you have a very different and diverse profile of an defence personnel and usually the B-schools prefer people from different backgrounds, so as to add diversity to their batch. The average score for ISB is generally range between 700-720, so any score between this range will be safe ![]()
@[402778:ps25] Hi...ISB intake is more compared to IIM's and after the Mohali campus it increased more, but the quality is never out of fashion
.. If IIM's are combined, then in total they'll be having much more intake than ISB. ISB has a good brand value and till now justifying with it's image. Although IIM's are also good choice, but ultimately everyone has different perceptions.. ![]()

@[594110:ThePoet] Hi.. you are right on part that having two year gap can be bit of concern for you and the interview panel. Actually a one year gap is quite common, but 2 year gap requires an solid explanation. I'm not a consultant but as a helper I think you have two choices to make regarding this...first you can stick to the actual excuse(which you have mentioned here) and the other is that you can develop a second excuse like health issues or family problem or any other thing which you find suitable for yourself. Otherwise you can go with the original excuse as you were later got into an IIT, so sleep over it and make a reasonable decision.
@[578588:singh151151] Hi.. definitely..you have a good profile although with this score of 730 it's pretty impressive. Remove any doubts from your mind and apply with confidence. ![]()
@[507977:4638] Hi..as per ISB is concerned, it requires a GMAT score preferably more than 700 to get a interview call and other thing regarding CAT is that you have a good profile as a CAT applicant because mostly CAT aspirants are freshers so you have a upper hand compared to them. But the level of CAT/XAT is bit tough than GMAT. So, ultimately the choice is your whether you want to appear for CAT or GMAT. As a helper I think if you are planning for GMAT, then you should look for more work ex of couple of year or so. It will be beneficial during interviews![]()
