@adichandak I would find it perfectly fine to reuse your own essays. You should ensure that you mention where all are the differences form previous year? What has changed - motivation, goals, achievements, why now again, etc etc. So, focus on the delta and you should be good
@sudhir3127 that is too high for ISB 😃 jokes apart. ISB is well known for consulting jobs. Fin folks end up in great fin jobs but usually outside of placements i.e. using thr own network

Got promoted in Wal-mart in just 5 months to Senior Software Engineer.
Extra Curricular:
I have been very active in athletics in college. Gold Medalist in High Jump in All India Sports fest. Got some medals in long jump, relay etc.
In school time, I played Badminton at state level.
I have been an active part of organizing committee of the University level culture meet of BHU. Also, I have been in involved in marketing for the techno-management festival of our college.
I have been very active in music. I have learnt hindustani classical music (vocals) for 5 years. I have passed exams conducted by Khairagarh University for those 5 years.

I have a question regarding the recommendations. I have worked with associate director of HR while working in the CSR team. Is it advisable to get recommendation from HR?

You have very good acad background. Focus on BUILDING a nice story around it. And CSR / HE reccos are highly valued. Usually, candidates write about NGO work in resume but never get a recco. More importantly, try to link up your motivation of dng an MBA with the work exp and also, the CSR activity. Usually good candidates like you miss out partially because all achievements are not linked up well with each other.
@IITISB can you explain more about what the adcom is looking for in recos? especially since they request 2 recos. Are there any guidelines or do's and don'ts for the recommenders?

@MissWorld Most important is that they should really know you. I have seen interviews where the candidate's story was inconsistent with what recco says! You want to avoid such situation. Ensure that reccomendor has seen you "enough" to comment
