Thanks.. I have one more question. In the same company I have played different roles one dealing with IT work and other as Domain Consultant. With Different Designations. Should I add them as different expierence details in the employment section or just one entry is enough for my tenure in the same company?
Regards, trex08
Trex08,
You may explain your various designations. Admissions
At present I am working in India. But I would be traveling to USA in the 1st week of October. As such, what should I enter as Interview Location? Kolkata (my current residence) or the location in USA to which I would be traveling (i.e. International)?
Similarly, can the contact numbers (cell number, etc) be changed after submission of the application? The new mailing address and contact numbers would be available to me from October.
I would really appreciate a quick reply so that I can submit my application in Round1.
Regards, Applicant
Applicant,
If you have any spaces left in the Optional essay then please explain the whole situation there. Also drop in a mail regarding the same to[email protected]after submitting your application. Do not forget to mention your reference number.
I had uploaded my passport copy some time back and i just wanted to make sure if it is in 150dpi however i'm not sure how to check that and how to rectify this in case its not as per the requirement.
Regards, Ankit
Ankit,
Please submit your application, in case there is some problem with your passport we will get in touch with you.
My company has just changed my location from one centre to another. I get a different salary slip for the new centre. It has joining details corresponding to the new centre and not for the organisation as a whole.
What should I do? Should I upload 2 salary slips-one from the previous centre and one from the new one?
Thanks SG
SG,
Please upload salary slips received from both the centers.
I am an economics graduate from University of Delhi (DU). At DU we have four subsidiary subjects in the first two years along with the majors. The university while calculating the score do not consider the subsidiary subjects. This rule is not explicitly mentioned in the marksheets or the degree. Thus if i include subsidiary score in my total scores it will be different from what the university reports (there would be a change in the division mentioned in the degree).
ISB instructions ask to include all subjects for calculating the scores unless this is explicitly mentioned somewhere in the marksheets or degree that university does not include them while calculating the scores.
My question is should i include subsidiary subject scores while calculating my Graduation percentage for ISB?

Nidhi,
Please mention the marks as mentioned in your degree.
Giving spotlight to the ISB Admission FAQ Page on the first post will be helpful to newcomers. Most of the general repetitive issues can be addressed by following this link on the first post itself.
For people who repeat any questions covered in the FAQ, you can refer them to the relevant question no. on that FAQ page. More FAQs built up in the last 80 pages or so can be updated on the Admissions FAQ Page.
It's easier reference for students, will reduce repetition of questions, giving you more time to answer more specific/relevant questions (or save your time), and make this thread more qualitative. I think it would be a more efficient and streamlined system.
If this is not the right place for putting in my suggestion, I humbly apologize, and request the Pagalguy Admin to move it to the right section.
Yours sincerely, S.Pinge
S.Pinge,
Thanks a lot for your suggestion. We will definitely try and make it happen.

Indeed, this is a nice suggestion. I have editted the first post on this thread with a link to the FAQ page on ISB's website.
I have submitted my application on the 7th of september.
After submission i downloaded the pdf document as available and saw that there were some extra new line characters that got added to my essays, it has particularly affected the flow of my 1st essay (although very minor). I have already emailed ISB regarding this(on 7th itself), but have not received any response on the same. Is there any other way that i can follow this up and is there really a need to follow this error up?
Also, i wanted to know whether applications can be rejected on the basis of spelling errors ( I found that in one place i have ended up making one typo (not in the essay but elsewhere).

Nishant,
Applications are not rejected on the basis of just one typo error. However, the same should not happen repeatedly as it reflects badly on your verbal capabilities.
You need not follow up on your mail. It will surely be addressed. The Adcom is only replying to submission related problems right now since the deadline is round the corner.
I am glad to see your prompt responses in this thread.
Please HELP me with this issue.
I am all set to apply for Cycle-1, today i was ready to submit the application and then i realized that i overlooked to hit "Send Mail" button for my evaluators. I have the evaluators ready and they can send the evaluations over the weekend.
Now my confusion is: After hitting the "Send mail" button, the status shows as "Mail sent to Admin". Is it an automated system that verifies the e-mail addrress or a person will do that?
I am in US and by the time it is monday (15th) for me, the deadline (as per IST) will be passed.
I am very desperate to apply in Cycle-1, given my preparation.
I have time (2 days) and evaluators ready, i just need the mails to be sent to them. Can you please point me in the right direction on what i can do over this remaining 2 days to get the evaluations submitted in time?
I already hit "send mail" button. and I am ready with rest of my application.

Sudhi.
I recieved the mail that evalutors can now submit their evalutaions... i am relaxed.
A clear note (which says something like "Verification process can take 12-24 hours) on the ISB App page would have saved my worry though.
In FT ranking, for the Alumni Recommended Rank, ISB is 85th. Also, value for money rank and Achieving Aims rank is low. What are the ways ISB is targeting these?
The bidding for courses has been discussed. Its also quoted in an interview that 560 will be the strength of Co2010. Does that permit students to audit, meaning attend courses without earning the credits?
Hi, I uploaded my passport scan today 150 dpi as per instructions. On the upload page it said "upload successful". And I got the view/delete link .... On clicking view I just get a blank page .... I am not able to see the image of my passport ..... The .jpg file I uploaded is okay ... It has the pic ... i have verified that ...

I have been working in my family business since past 7 years. I draw a salary and do not have any stake in the ownership. In the income proof should I post my salary slip or should I post my IT return. The IT return is understated for the purpose of saving taxes. I wish to apply in the first cycle. PLease advise as soon as possible.
I have a query regarding extra-curriculars. I participated in various plays during my school time at All India Radio(AIR). I did those till my 11th class (i.e. 1999).I don't have any proof for it except my first contract which fortunately my parents saved , it dates back to year 1992. Will that contract suffice as a proof or shall I go to AIR office and try to get a letter from them stating that I participated in various plays during that time 1992-1999.
