I am a female applicant and I have already submitted all necessary documents for R1. But I am curious to know why submission of Class X marksheet is necessary only for female applicants?
I look forward to your reply.
Best Regards, Target-09
Cfaking123,
1) Class X mark sheet is necessary only in case of female applicants. Male applicants need to to upload their mark sheets from class XII onwards.
2) You need not do anything else. Once you submit your application, we will let you know about your score.
The ADCOM would like to Thank You for all your praise. We hope to keep the good work going.

Target-09,
Class X mark sheets are required for certain scholarships that are specifically meant for female applicants only.
dear adcom, u r doing a grt work. thanks. im an R1 applicant and positive about the result. now i want to know what are the documents i need to keep ready for the edu.loan?on what basis they provide the loan? i mean is there a creditcheck? i had defaulted an auto loan 4 yrs back only once due to lack of info. will this affect me getting edu.loan? pls guide me through. thanks.
My graduation marksheets are of A3 size. Do i need to condense them to A4 size?
Nvivek81,
Yes, you will have to resize them to A4. Please scan your mark sheets in black & white and not in colour. Your mail regarding passport scans has been replied to.

Heroishere,
Yes, they will do a credit check through CIBIL and then process the loan. You will need a personal guarantor who is currently working to guarantee your loan. Other documents include your mark sheets, salary slips and IT returns for last 3 years.
Sir, Would appreciate it if you can answer a couple of queries: I am an applicant from India
1) would you rate an applicant as more desirable if they come from a sector which barely exists in India ? Semiconductor Equipment manufacturing 2) Do you look for a "critical mass" from an industry -OR if I be the only guy from this sector , would ISB look at it all the more positively? My organisation is an absolute world leader with a revenue of around 9 Bn USD.
I understand that this questions must have been sent to you a number of times but the pre-interview doc-updates have been raising the anxiety levels of the aspirants the last week before the results.
My question would be to understand whether ISB plans to upload and update the pre-interview doc status of all candidates shortlisted for the interviews (may be 1000+) or only those who are finally selected (may be 300+).
As of now the latter is raising the anxiety of all R1 Shortlisted applicants since some people who were interviewed in Delhi on 13-14th ares still waiting for their doc status to be updated whereas some people in Mumbai / Hyderabad have got their doc status updated.
It would really help bring down the anxiety level of the aspirants if you can clarify the situation/process.
The average work exp of the batch at ISB is 5 years and their placements will happen during the normal placement period. We have a system of Lateral placements for those with more than 8 years of work exp. Companies are free to look at these profiles off campus and also to evaluate their applications when they come down for placements on campus. Companies with Telecom, Strategy and Product Management in IT are regular favourites here.
Admissions Team
Dear Admissions Team, A follow-up question on that. Is data for past years' lateral placements available separately?

Aspirant - MBA Cof 2010,
Nowhere on the website or in any communication from our end is it mentioned that the document status will be updated citywise or otherwise.
The only way to ease your anxiety is to stop reading too much between the lines and not indulge in over analysis of petty issues.
