Dear Sir,
I am a Chartered Accountant.
I am working as an ERP Consultant in TCS. I have close to 5 years of work experience and have a scored a 700 in GMAT.
I had topped my university in my graduation exams.
Could you please advise, how my score will rate for ISB.
I have read that 700 is not considered adequate.
Looking forward to your advise.
Thanks and regards,
Rashmi.
Dear AdCom,
It is impressive to know that ISB in the top 20 list of Financial Times. However I would like to know that is there any move to get ISB ranked in the THE-QS rankings as Government of India has a scheme whereby it supports courses in top 200 THE - QS schools to the extent of 25000 USD.
Being in the Government, I would feel in case ISB qualifies for the same, it would help someone like me to pursue a business management course and consider adding value to my work within the Government too. Otherwise, going through this course and investing about 20 lakhs will be more of a one way track.
In case ISB can take it up to ensure that FT rankings are also recognised, it would facilitate a lot of quality improvement within the Government.

Dear Mr Menon/Admission Team,
Thank you very much for your reply for my previous question. Could you please resolve these queries as well:
1. Apart from the direct current supervisor for the first recommendation, who is the ideal candidate for the second recommendation? I am in my current job since last 2.5 years and I can either take the second reco from my current Department head (who also knows me well) or from my previous employment's direct supervisor. Whom of these two would be weighed more in my ISB application, considering both know me well.
2. Can I list my BTech internships (2 internships of 2 months each) in the experience details? I see an option of "Intership" while filling the experience form.
Thanks & Regards,
Amit

Dear Adcom,
Do you consider R1 applicants who fail to qualify for interview in R2 shortlisting by any chance at your own prerogative?

Hi,
I believe Ivy league experience and post graduation degree at ISB at this point in time will be a great step to further my carrer.
I have 3 years exp in acquisition of various asset products in Financial sector in a team management role, and over one and half years of entrepreneur experience in FMCG products
I have good interpersonal skills and good analytical skills, I have a passion for learning, personal development and training, I want to join ISB for grooming myself, developing consultancy skills, building a holistic business skills and a global perspective in emerging markets. I want to take a job in consultancy post ISB to and start my own venture 3-4 years post ISB.
1.What are skills ISB sees during the interview or in application for some one who wants to shift a career from line role to consultancy.
2. Is 5 years exp in Financial sector/FMCG basically in a line role and aquistion is a competitive profile at ISB.
Am a re-applicant and this year looking at GMAT score of 710.
Request your inputs.
regards,
Aashish..
