I know it is tough and I am in the same boat as you as well as other people. We waited one month, 3 mores days will not hurt...
I strongly believe they are waiting for some application to arrive this sat/sun since round 1 deadline is mon oct 5th and they will then be getting in contact with us on Sunday (but maybe before).
Look at the bright side, you did not get a ding yet like some people, which means they are still considering your application because most b-schools let know know when you get a ding ASAP so they dont keep you waiting.
So just hold off on emailing them and it will all work out for us!!!
I understand Man!!!. Lets hope for the best....and ATB to you also...
So far no one has come up in this forum who has applied to Ivey or has been interviewd ???
Whats going on? By this time there must me loads of people applying to ivey and discussing on this forum...
well..ppl got interviewed about 4 weeks back...as did i..and i saw here that there have been some admits and somes dings...but in the last 2-3 weeks..it has been very quiet...
can u throw some more light on ur plan...ie, u would apply with ur old score to be considered in R1,but when u would get ur new score u would send it to Ivey..
I hope it works for u,though i have my own doubts..since its rolling admission which ivey follows,am sure they would wait for ur final gmat score before considering ur file as complete .
@brandmanager,
Yes, I will submit my application with my old score and send the re take score later on. I have written to admission committee about this and they are co operating. However my final admission decision will be put on hold till i submit re take score, which is fine with me.
And thanks for giving some insights abt the money aspect of Visa! upto 40 lacs shouldn't be an issue for me, but showing nything beyond that in bank is difficult for me.
Could you pls explain further abt how to go abt hvaing a guarantor...My friend is ready to support me financially. What docs would be needed to convince Visa office that he will support me?
so whats ur current score? When are u retaking gmat?

Congratulations! Avg. means there are almost half people under avg.
I dont know how long Ivey is going to take to make decision on waitlists so I am going to pay the initial amount to Queens. I can not take chance now....
Bobby with your kind of exp, an Ivey or Queens would not be a Deal Breaker. Both are equally good schools, so u can benefit equally from them...Go ahead and secure admission in Queens...as its said One bird in hand is worth 2 in a bush... ATB bro

The decision on waitlist would not happen before end of R2, when they can merge the waitlist of both the rounds and then give offers to some waitlist..
Am sure no waitlist Num would have been given as of now..
Also it could mean that waitlists would only be confirmed after all rounds of admission are over, which could mean waiting for next 3-4 months..
