For those accepted, how long did it take to recieve the package after your got a phone call? I beleive its 10 days, but I just want to confirm.

Basically, you should have received a formal admission email, after that the hard copy package comes in couple of days.
BTW, you are supposed to be a future leader and take tough roles after graduation. Don't be so anxious, especially when you will join the class 2 years later...:o

I have not got the email yet, just a call from Niki and she said the email will follow. I am sure I will get it soon.
And I am not anxious, I will just will not be in the country and need to know so someone can pick it up at my house so I can get it when I return.

They will send thru FedEx. You can always ask them to resend you another copy if you don't get it. Althernatively, you may want to check your ezone, there would be a 'congratulations' button at the right side.

What is ezone? I got on the site via google, but what is my logon info? I tried my inside track one, but it does not seem to work?
How can I get a user name/password?
ahhh...nevermind...I think I need an ivey email...which I do not have.
But even the Ivey mail did not have login details for eZone, and it is certainly different from Inside Track, does anyone else have any idea about when and where to get login details for eZone?
Regarding questions on last page about timelines, I submitted my application on 26th July, got an interview invite mail on Aug 22nd, Interview took place on Sept 1st, Acceptance call from Niki on Sept11th, followed by confirmation email from Ivey on Sept 14th and the actual package arrived within 3-4 days.

Well, just wanted to let you all know that I had been admitted to Richard Ivey for program starting Spring 2009 and due to financials constraints, I had to defer it to Spring 2010.
However, the crisis still goes on and as a result I had to give up the admission offer.
So I guess someone from you is going to take my place at Ivey this coming season.
I would be happy to guide you in case anyone wants me to answer any questions.
All the best to everybody and I hope none of you have to give up your seat just like I had to (BTW, I hope you guys know that the cost of an MBA from Ivey is around 42 lakhs and don't even think of doing a part-time job coz you won't get the time)

Since I had applied for Spring 2009 intake, I had applied on their first deadline last year (15th September, 2009). My first interview was with the career counseller person who took it in October. The second interview got delayed and was done in 3rd week of December.
I recieved the outcome of the interview in February 2009 (I was waitlisted) and by 1st week of March, I got the final offer of admission.
Guys, Just a word of caution: do not worry about the delay in getting a response. It takes time as adcom carefully checks for everything in your application. So a little haste on your part might tilt the scales against you.
Keep up the patience and wait for the result

I just want to say that what you said is 100% true. When Niki called me, the first thing she did was thank me for my patience and for not contacting them. I waited about 5 weeks after my interview and did not email or call the office once ( it was hard, but you dont want to "bug" them while they are still making a decision). Remember, no news is good news. They have hundreds of apps to go through and it takes time, especially when they are travelling around the world with MBA events and spend little time in the office..
I strongly urge no one to contact them after you have applied, unless you have a legit question. But do not do it for a "status" update.
....once you apply it is all out of your hands anyways, contacting them can only make it worse.

It is unfortunate that you are having to let go of the offer. Will you be losing the CAD 5000 dollars for deferral?
I also have been wait listed. I was an early applicant.
Did the keep you continuously updated or suddenly gave you a call informing of the admission offer?

Can anyone convey to me the email address ? Also is it necessary to send hard copy of transcripts to the school at this stage ?

What abt transcripts...? Is Ivey strict about them being sent from college for processing appps, or can i send the scanned copies first and then hard copies later on...
