Just wanted to know that whether a person is required to give TOEFL for admission
or a degree from an institute where English was used for teaching purposes will do?
Got an interview invite. December 6th in Bangalore. I think Ivey is coming down. So it'll be f2f.

I'd suggest you to mail and ask them. I had sent my TOEFL scores.

i have yet to send transcripts
i think i need to submit app for that so as to generate an app id

weren't you trying for R1? all your documents need to reach them before they start considering your app.
I sent the transcripts thru DHL - they have a special university application service. Took about 5 business days.

to be safe, submit your app, and send all the supporting docs by the deadline, including recos....

yeah right thats why i was asking about TOEFL because even if i take that test today it takes 15 days to report the score to college i am applying
so thats why i had concern on this

if you manage to send all the remaining documents by the deadline, you can probably talk to Ivey adcom about TOEFL getting delayed...
I got TOFEL/IELTS waiver from IVEY. I think IVEY is not stressed much on TOFEL if u have exp in MNC as well as medium of study is ENGLISH.

you can send docs within a stipulated time period after online submission. i think it is 1 week. however, i first sent the docs and then submitted the online app as i was not done with the essays.

Are your reference letters addressing all the questions? The grid has to be filled out though.

I suggest you scan your transcripts and send a mail saying that the originals are on the way.

I also sent a copy of my degree. References were emailed.

Hi there
For speeding the admission process they have asked you to upload the transcripts, But you should mail them those docs once you have finished the app process, The admission team sends admission decision only after verifying all the docs including transcripts.
So it is better to send them transcripts by mail as soon as possible. I am not very sure abt 2 copies part

Yes they need 2 sets of official transcripts. I didn't know about mailing transcripts to IVEY. But I will do it with submission of my application.
To : Ram4V12 -> I am also going to send my application by this week.
