Got a mail from Ivey saying that the waitlist hasn't moved and whether I am still interested for the 2010 intake. Alternatively, they have also asked me whether I would like to be considered for the 2011 intake.

And guess what .. Ivey admin has already posted the new essay set and deadline...
Both real surprises... 😃 and there is an early admission deadline too in May 3 :))... I am really surprised...

Just got off my interview with Karen. She was very nice and made it easy for me .... As with all , she didnt give a clue on how the interview went ....
Below is the list of questions that I can rem :
1) Walk thru the resume
2) Challenging assignment -- How did I manage and cope. What did I learn from that exp?
3) Any conflicts with some team -- How did I manage and cope
4) Short term and long term goals
5) what qualities can you bring to the table for your consulting career
6) Why MBA? Why now
7) What If you were made the CEO of TATA. What would be your three priorities?
Thts all I can rem .....
She also asked me that: If I were to join the MBA program how would I manage, since the Pre MBA programs start in Mid March.
This was my first interview for any school. .... and for tht matter first interview of any form for a long time ..... I do not know how it went .... just keepin my fingers crossed .......
Did anyone else appear for the interiview in the final round?

I applied in R3 (Jan 04) and had my interview on 11th Feb with Karen, which went quite well. However, today I received a regret mail from Ivey 
I have applied to Rotman as well on Jan 31st but ain't too positive there either as they haven't started reviewing my application yet due to delay in getting transcripts from my college.
Guess I'm not destined to do an MBA this year :)

I applied in R3 (Jan 04) and got interviewed in person by Diane on Jan 25th.
Got waitlisted on Feb 19th!! 😞 ... they said they'll review with last round and reply between Mar 1 to 15th.

Just a small piece of advice which might come in handy... to all WAITLISTED folks
Well, just do remain in touch with the admin team. That does not mean sending out mails every 3rd day or wekly but let's say once in a 10-14 day period. In case you have something interesting going on, do make a mention of it to them as well.
The reason is that while on waitlist, there are several candidates like you. So, when handlng out the admission leter to the aitlisted canidates, ho do they know which one is the best? I guess Ivey has about 72 seats each year so that makes it real competitive. So you need to stand out in the crowd, right?
I was a waitlisted candidate for 2009 and had to defer my admit to e2010. So thats how I have an inkling as to what transpires. But yeah.. as of now I have sent a regret letter to Ivey coz I am short on finances. So it's neither Ivey nor Queens.. my GMAT journey still continues..
In case anybody needs any inuts/info/guidance on anything lemme know.. You guys can message me...
