action hai (bohat jyaaadaa ... every day every moment there is some action happening in some nook n corner of MDI for sure 😉 ),
suspense hai (each day u ve ... yeh kab hua ... kyaa baat kartaa hai .... ohhhhoo .... aaaaanhaaaaaa .... moments 😉 ),
drama hai (read placements ... life cant get more melodramatic than this),
thodi see tragedy bhi hai (days b4 yr convo ven u knw this is coming to an end 😞 )

A new batch is in with new expectations and dreams..and within this first week in MDI, I would be lying if I say that I have experienced something similar before...
Assignments, classes, quit etc are part of a B School. But the kind of culture present here, especially the first week of induction is something that sets MDI apart...
I know there is a thread called "My Dream Institute", but I felt that we needed to have a Life @ MDI thread to maintain the consistency with other schools....
Anyway, I hope this thread will continue to grow as we find and learn more from MDI... From my end I will be posting more about what MDI is about other than projects,assigments etc....And I hope my batchmates and current seniors and alumni too join...

I have gone through this entire thread. it was like reading 5 point someone
with characters Ramswaroop, Mufasa bhai ,arorarasid,the.bombardier,freakynut :)
The only thing that's missing is some Proffessor Cherian's daughter ;)
In all likelihood I am going to be a part of this esteemed institute.(Likelihood comes into picture just because I m not sure what will I do in case IIM I waiting 115 gets cleared which itself has very less likelihood:) )
For the last three years in job the thing which I have been missing the most is the presence of some sports.The mention of football (my favouriteeeeeee) in the posts has brought a big glee on my face 😃 . Seniors be ready to face some stiff challenges from juniors in Football arena. Just kiddin.:)
I just want to be a part of this legacy of good sports culture in MDI and want
to develope it further.

We had a great Ecclesia meet in our campus yesterday... I could see some really happy faces... Met some puys as well... Lots of questions, lots of hesitance (that's understandable, I am sure the incoming batch will love the campus as much we do)..and lots of food :)
This thread is about to finish a year... It would be upto the juniors now to keep updating it, without diluting the quality of the thread... as for me, I will be active here... and ya, we look forward to seeing all Mandevians in the campus soon... :cheerio:

I am writing on PG after a verrrrry long time, btw dis thread which is maintained by all of u is really nice. M so desperately waiting to go bak 2 campus.. i even missed d meet on campus, was at grandparents' place that weekend.. but see u all in a week's time tab tak let me go bak 2 making my presentation and report..

Besides the juniors and junta from our batch we had Mr.Girish Aivalli from the Class of 96 i.e. the first batch of PGPM too. He was very appreciative of "Ecclesia" as a concept .... and am sure the Class of 2010 ... will take this initiative of Class of 2009 ..one notch higher the next year!!
For the time being .... most of us are all busy with our project reports and presentations .. since summers coming to an end (mine alrdy ended last friday).
Most of us are dying back to get back on campus ... somehow I feel this 1 month of "judaai" from the campus has further strengthened the bond we all share with MDI and with fellow ManDevIans!!
So come 8th June the Campus will again be abuzzz with activity ...more often the chaotic activities that we all play a part in our own ways in this place. Classes, coffee, walks, arcus, jhaji, sharmaji .... and an event which we all eagerly await!! ;)
PS: I spent my summers @ MDI itself 😃 ... and now on hindsight I feel thats the best thing that happened this summers 😃 ..... besides the weather has been very kind for every1 in Gurgaon for the past two months ... in fact beautiful and gorgeous at times .... n I hope n pray it remains so for the next couple of months too!!
