Trichy time again on Aug 24th when the much awaited convocation for my batch happens.Usually scheduled to happen in Jan, it had to be postponed for various reasons. Looking forward to bonding with old batchmates and the juniors.

Hope the chill weather and rains continue till then for that would be the best time to visit the Kaveri river and Kallanai dam--brimming at all distributaries in full flow.

Whoa... what a day it was ! One of the best and most enjoyed Republic Days !
Started off with Events conducted by Welfarecom and ended with most exciting flash mob at busiest places in Trichy !! Most memorable and cherished !

BIM, Trichy takes immense pleasure and pride in congratulating Dr. S. Jaya Krishna for receiving the "Best Professor in Operations Management" award in the 23rd Dewang Mehta National Educational Awards held at Mumbai on 28th Nov 2015. Best wishes Sir!

To all the BIM aspirants out there, here is a sneak-peek into life at the institute, to make you want to be here all the more, or for the least help you make an educated decision in choosing the right B-school.

Looking back at the day I chose to do an MBA, BIM was always my top preference and it has never failed to live up to my expectations. Right from the day I landed here, there has been no looking back at the credibility of the choice I made. There has been so much to learn from the first day.

I arrived at BIM on the 21st of June, a Sunday, with a bag full of apprehension, perplexity of becoming a student again, after three years in the corporate and much anxiety about what the new place and people had to offer. And I MUST admit that BIM has been nothing short of an exuberant ride and proved all my initial discernments wrong.

The comfortable two-bedroom accommodations are truly a home away from home and if you turn lucky, your roommates could be your family for the next two years. The mess is entirely student driven and has a wide variety of North and South Indian dishes to savor your taste buds. But what essentially matters is what you take away from the course at the end of two years. Apart from the finance, marketing and management gyan, and a job that offers a fat pay-check, there is something unique to studying at BIM. It is the learning that happens beyond the classrooms, that you carry with you for a lifetime and makes you evolve as a person. Learning to manage time, the invincible spirit to not give in to pressure, peer learning, handling stress, building networks, and the force that pushes you to work outside your comfort zones, it is all these factors, in the right proportion, that creates transformational leaders. I rediscovered myself at BIM, identified my strengths and weakness and set a lot of priorities right.

If you are looking for two years of transformation, then BIM is the place to be.
