The annual fest of FORE Genesis 2010 is scheduled on 12th and 13th Nov....so prelims rounds of most of the events are in full flow

As try bhai said, there was the plantation drive organized by us (I am part of Team ANTAR which works for social and environmental issues). Though we started preparations a bit late, it finally turned out to be a great event. Plan to make it bigger and better next year.
Mid term exams are round the corner. It starts on Monday. But no mood to study. Its the festive season of Diwali and who remembers books!!
Its getting cold day by day here. The most dreaded time of the year for me. Being from a place which is relatively hot year round, dunno how I can cope with the nail biting cold here. 
The 2 days annual B School fest "Genesis 2010" kicked off today
A lot pf ppl from other colleges are attending various events of Genesis
In short it's a festive mood here @ Campus
The first day of Genesis 2010 ended with a live performance by Kumar Vishwas A great performance and the junta at FORE enjoyed a lot
Finally Genesis 2010 is over. This year's Genesis was better and bigger than ever. With participation from colleges across the country it was a fun filled event

Now a lot of expectations is set from our Juniors for Genesis 2011...n I am sure they will fulfill all the expectations
Finally "Genesis" the annual management fest@FORE School of Management was over and it was a huge success.
It was a tiring and entertaining experience filled with lots of learning.
After a day of rest we go back to normal life full of cases , projects and presentations.
We had Phoenix Summit 2010 today. The chief guest were Mr. Som Mittal (President NASSCOM) and Mr. S.Y. Siddiqui (Maruti).
There were also panel discussions on People Issues in Business Capability Building & Customer Challenges in Business Capability Building.

Today 5th trimester exams ended. From monday last will begin.
Placement week is round the corner....lets see wats there in store for me...hoping to get a good job

And the day 1 of the placement week...got placed with Wipro
Finally wait came to an end...akhiri trimester aaram se katega...meanwhile all juniors are back from their winter vacations...apne 1st year ke din yaad aa gaye wen we had our winter vacations...sadly no holidays in 2nd year
But all is well that ends well...now its :drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking::drinking:

Placement is going on a good note
Today we all (students, faculty, staff members) celebrated Lohiri in college. It was a nice experience to see all of us together that too out of classroom
Meanwhile inter class cricket tournament is about to start...and I am also a part of it. Also the inter class TT tournament is going on. Some more tournaments are in pipeline
Again the assignments, projects and all
Life has become a bit relaxed after placements. There was so much of tension before start of the placement week. All is well that ends well
Meanwhile there was a 2 day entrepreneurship program organized by CED, FORE. It was a nice platform for budding entrepreneurs

meanwhile the inter class cricket tournament has started. My class had our first match today. We won by 5 wickets
Assignments, projects and presentations have started in full flow now but most of the students are busy in :drinking::drinking::drinking: after placements.
Last trimester of our MBA course and we are enjoying it
Again back in PG after another long gap. First thread I look into is this and as no surprise try bhai is here as usual!

Cricket tournament is on in full swing as he said. Its inter class tournament (8 teams from 3 each of junior and senior FMG batch and 1 each of junior and senior IMG batch). Our class has lost the first 2 matches in the group and is out of the tournie, but then we can spoil it for another one also. 
Btw I'm not in the team.
Badminton tournament kicks off tomorrow. Starts with the singles matches, followed by doubles and mixed doubles also. I've registered for all 3 and I have my first match tomorrow under lights at 8PM!
Meanwhile on the academic front, had a pathetic 2nd trimester. Marks out for almost all and I've made the top 5 in all except 2 (out of 9!!)..from the bottom!!!! :banghead:
Got summer job in Ops profile (my intended specialization), so no worries on that front. Phew!!
Gotta pick myself up and score decent or rather extra decent this trimester or else I'm a goner! 
Gotta go then. Feeling sleepy. 
Have Market Research class tomorrow at 9.30AM. Pandey sir. Doesn't give attendance even if late by a second!!! 
So let me catch some shut eye so that I can wake up on time.

I don't have any midsem this trimester so life is not that hectic. Although a lot of work has to done in my research project. Next week full masti as I am leaving for Indore to attend my cousin sis marriage
Last weekend FORE sports team visited IMT G for their annual sports events. We were in the finals of cricket tournament. other teams also performed well.
Entrepreneurship week is going on in FORE. Today "Pirates of the Silicon Valley" was shown in the auditorium
Meanwhile multiple placements have started. people are hoping to get better deal
There is Spic Macay programme scheduled on 18th in which Pandit Debu Chahudhuri would be performing. Eagerly waiting for the event.
