Tribute: Father of free black South Africa

ďΕ₯ΕΌ

I can recall very few leaders in the near past who have played such an important role in their respective countries' development. Nelson Mandela is one of those gems who consistently fought for freedom from apartheid, from atrocities against minorities & even from life-taking diseases like AIDs. The charisma and aura which Mandela carried was really splendid. I bow my head in tribute to his 95 wonderful & eventful yearsmost of which were spent in the service of humankind.

Perhaps no leader in history spent 30 years of life in prison.Mandela joined the African National Congress to overthrow white supremacy and for the formation of true democratic governance. In his quest for equality & justice he not only traversed the tough terrains in the interiors of his homeland, South Africa but he also travelled all around the world, all the while carrying message of love from is brotherhood. He was awarded BharatRatna from Government of India as well. Mandela matched the nature of Winston Churchill in arousing inspiration amongst his followers & fellow mates alike. At the same time he was also the friend of Cuban living legend Fidel Castro. No one could escape his charisma. His appearance was a sort of healer and hisdemeanor that of a father figure. He married three times and each time he battled with his dedication for the family or for the greater good of his country. He chose everytime to dedicate his self towards up-liftment of society. He led the path and showed the world to express the true meaning of freedom and to strive towards it.

Nelson Mandela, Thank you for being a part of our lives!!

Thoroughly enjoyed presenting infront of the esteemed guests from the industry and fellow friends on 30th Nov as a part of the Innovation in HR Conclave.πŸ‘

FIIB debate series: The latest ruling by the Supreme Court of India has ruled out the 2009 Delhi High Court's Decision in favor of the Indian LGBT community. The decision has stirred divided opinions from different thinking classes of the Indian society. While the controversial decision has incited outrage among the Gay Right Activists resulting in public display of protesting feats, another large section of people including many Social and Religious bodies have expressed their support towards this decision. We approached a few students of FIIB to give their views – Do you think that the Supreme Court's ruling that the gay sex illegal and punishable is justified? Here is what they had to say.
